"With the power vested to me. I know pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride." The priest said that's why the crowd clapped their hands.

I look at the couple infront of me and my heart is at peace and genuinely happy.

"Finally, after everything that happened. They already got married." Sabi ng katabi ko at pinunasan ang luha.

"And finally I can let go of the past." Sabi ko at ngumiti.

Flashback

My heart can't stop beating fast on the scene that I saw. I can't believe what just happened. Biglang bumalik ang alaala kung kailan binaril si mama harap-harapan sa akin habang nakapikit ako.

"Dad." Sambit ko.

I watch him walk towards me with his serious face. Walang emosyong nakabakas sa kaniyang mukha.

"Jasmine." He said worriedly. Ang walang emosyong mata niya ay napalitan ng pag-aalala.

"This time. I am not late." He said and cup my face. Hindi matanggap ng utak ko ang mga nangyayari.

"W-Why? H..How?" I asked while looking at him full of questions. Natumba ang mga tauhan ni Mr. Laurier dahil binaril sila habang hinarangan ni Kiglen si dad.

Hindi naman patay ang mga tauhan dahil pampatulog ang bala ng mga baril na hawak nila.

"I'll answer your questions pero dalhin muna natin ang dad mo sa hospital." Sabi niya sa akin.

"Great job Adrian. Thank you for your coordination. Dadalhin na nila si Mr. Laurier sa kulungan. He will face the consequences of his illegal acts." Sabi ni Kiglen kay Adrian at tinapik sa balikat.

Kiglen assisted me to his car and while nasa biyahe ay may naririnig ako sa likod and there's something that trigger me. Naramdaman ko ang paghawak ni Kiglen sa kamay ko pero tinanggal ko.

"Kamusta na siya?" I asked the doctor nang lumabas ito mula sa ER.

"He is already safe. He needs to rest and drink his medicines so he will regain his body's strength. It will take some days bago siya gumaling but don't worry he will be fine." The doctor said and assured.

"Thank you very much Doc." I said and shake hands with her. I already informed Tita Helena about the incident and they are on their way.

I went back outside kung nasaan silang lahat. I look at my friends but I can't look at Kiglen, Adrian and Riza. My emotions and mind is unstable, it's been a roller coaster. Iyung pakiramdam ko dati ay bumabalik. It was triggered by fear and a deja vu of the incident from the past.

"Jasmine." Tawag ni Shea nang mapansin ako kaya napatingin sila sa akin.

"Kamusta si tito?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Lorraine.

"The doctor said that he is fine. He just need some rest to regain." Sagot ko at tumahimik na.

"Jasmine, can we talk?" Halos pabulong na sabi Kiglen sa akin pero hindi ako sumagot.

"Alis muna kami." Paalam ni Shea. Ang naiwan nalang ay ako si Adrian, si Kiglen at si Riza.

"Nakayanan niyong masaktan ako para sa plano ninyo. You used me as a bait to Mr. Laurier? Now I clearly understand.Thank you for saving my dad and getting the justice I have been longing for, most especially for wrecking me." Emosyonal na sabi ko at tumingin kay Kiglen. What the f*ck just happened to my life?

"Jasmine. Please listen to me. I'll explain to you everything. Lahat-lahat walang halong kasinungalingan."Kiglen pleaded and hold my hand but I take it back.
