"What's the meaning of this?" Tanong ko sa aking sarili ng may madatnan akong dalawang police car sa labas ng aming bahay. Nagmadali akong lumabas sa aking sasakyan at pumasok sa bahay dahil baka may problema. I just came from the university since, I have a long break before my afternoon class.

Naabutan kong kausap ni dad ang mga police sa may sala. I am curious on what is happening."But I am telling you the truth Mr. Bantam. This is just the time that this incident happened." Napansin ko ang isang pulis na kausap si dad habang may dalawa na nakabantay sa kaniyang likod.

"What is happening here?" I asked and walk towards dad. I stood beside him facing the police. Kilala ko ang pulis na kausap ni dad, kasamahan ni mama dati.

"Mr. Verlice is under investigation because of getting involve in illegal using of drugs and chemicals in running its own plantation." Mr. Bantam said that's why my brows crossed. What?

Napatingin ako sa pulis at saka sumagot."There must be a mistake Mr. Police officer. We always make sure that what we use in our plantation is legal and natural. We may use pesticides or insecticide but not that much because we know how it can affect the human's health." I explained. "You can talk to our agriculturist Mr. Leon County and Ms. Rina Dela Vega."

"They are also under investigation." The police officer said. "Your whole plantation as well as your company's transactions."

After a long year of running our business,a sudden incident like this happened."You don't have evidences to prove that my dad is guilty." Sabi ko.

"Kung inyong mararapatin ay pwede kayong sumama para maipakita namin sa inyo ang kagagawan ng paggamit niyo ng illegal na droga at kemikal." Sabi ng pulis kaya tumango ako.

Pagkarating namin sa aming taniman ay nagulat ako dahil halos kalahati ng ay nasisira.

"There are some people who were sent to the hospital because of the imported fruits and vegetables. Some of your workers were also sent to the hospital." The police officer said."This happened last week and it keeps on going."

I was shock on the informations that the police officer is saying."This can't be." I said to myself.

"This is the first time that this had happened. For how many years that we handled this plantation, there is no case like this that happened." Dad said. There is only one man whom I suspect. He even mentioned about our sales which is suspicious.

"This happened last week dad and you didn't even inform me? Dad, can't you really trust me for this? Tell me what's going on." I said to him while looking at the damaged land.

Binaling ko ang tingin ko kay dad."Last month I had a partnership with Mr. Laurier." Nakaramdam ako ng inis pagkarinig ko sa pangalan na iyon. Wala naman siyang alam sa misyon ko pero bakit niya kami pinupunterya?

"Why would you have a partnership with him? Maayos naman lahat dad. I already told you not to get involve with him." I said. Matagal na palang may partnership pero ngayon lang nabanggit.

"The company is falling and Mr. Laurier is a help for us to connect with others to regain." Dad reasoned out. That man is deceitful and brainy, I know he is up into something.

I can observe that dad is making excuses."I won't believe that." I said to dad and turn my back from him. I went to the police officer,Mr. Bantam to have a deal.

"If I didn't fulfill what I have said, you can put me to jail but if I have proven that we are not guilty take that man to jail." I said to Mr. Bantam.

He look at me while having a second thought."I know that this is a risky agreement but I know your family background. Your mom is also a good companion, whom I owe my life so I will give you a favor just make sure that you'll settle things right." He said, while directly looking at my eyes.
