After a very busy and hectic day, Veronica retired to her dorm, and surprisingly, she found Grace and lilly this time around, but they were all dressed up.
"Ummm, is anything special happening?" She asked
"Nothing too special, we're just going to a party which Austin is hosting." Lilly replied, but Veronica was able to see the tint of blush that appeared on Lily's cheek at the mention of Austin's name.
"Oh, okay, have fun." Veronica said as she passed by them.
"Wait!" Grace called out to her as she held her arm.
"Yes?"
"Why don't you join us?" Grace suggested with hope glistering in her eyes.
"Nope, thanks, but I think I'll pass." Veronica replied.
"Why not?" Lilly asked.
"Parties aren't for me, and by the way, Austin hates me." She said as she shrugged like it didn't bother her, but for some reason, it did.
"Austin doesn't hate you. He just doesn't like you," lilly said it casually like it was supposed to make her feel better.
Grace shot lilly a look that said 'Don't say mean stuff' but lilly replied by rolling her eyes and shrugging her shoulders.
"If you don't want to go, you don't have to." Lilly said but Grace objected.
"No, it'll be fun, we'll play games and dance, if you're worried about alcohol, then I promise you, you won't be drinking with us, please say yes." Grace said with pouty lips which just made Veronica giggle.
She found it cute that Grace was acting all childish, she thought about their offer for a while and came to a decision.
"Fine, I'll go. Let me change out of my clothes first."
"Yes!, okay be fast we'll be waiting for you." Grace said
About Two minutes later, Veronica came out wearing a plain blue shirt paired with her black Jean.
"Ew," lilly said
"Um, Vee, what are you wearing?" Said Grace while trying to hide her grimace.
"Clothes?" Veronica said
"I meant. Why are you wearing that?" Grace asked, pointing towards Veronica's outfit.
"We're running late." Lilly said in a bored tone
