Aphrodite is the Goddess of Beauty and Love.
So, she likely had some heavy expectations for her Children.
As she's mainly all about Beauty and Love, she likely ingrained in her Children's heads, that they must be on a strict diet, to maintain a skinny figure. To wear a lot of makeup, to always dress in style, and to fall in love with someone, solely for their looks.
During his recovery process in S2, after being corrupted/possessed by the Seductive Rose, he likely broke these rules set by Aphrodite, proceeding to freak out later.
When Jyles found out about these rules, his immediate instinct was to take the ungodly amount of makeup Bryan got from Aphrodite, and throw it in the ocean. But, he managed to hold his desire to do so, back, because Bryan didn't want that.
When Inpu found out, he was quick to tell Bryan that makeup or no, it doesn't matter to him, that he still loves Bryan, irregardless of whether or not he wears makeup, and styles himself up.
Because while Inpu fell for Bryan's looks, he fell harder for his personality, and he'd love Bryan, just as himself.

FantasyI'm going through a whole Origins of Olympus era, and I love Bryan's POV the best. So any Origins of Olympus books I may make, will likely be more about Bryan. Brypu headcanons are involved, here and there. Same with Brypu family, headcanons.
