Bryan asks SR, why they corrupted him? Yeah, Hera had given him the sword in the first play. And yeah, he was more weak willed, compared to other demigod children (𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲.)
But, why corrupt and control him, specifically?
The small part of Zeratino, that existed, buried deep down. Made their way to the surface, and told Bryan of his past.
Of what happened to them and their brother.
They go on to say, out of all the demigods. Bryan, would have been the only one to show compassion, to show grief, to what happened to them and their brother.
And, Bryan did grieve what happened to Zeratino, in S3. When the SR was defeated for good.
He felt for the brothers. Felt for the cruel fate they had been cursed with.
He felt like a monster, for taking Xiphos's brother away from him.
