Bryan is actually very sassy.
When he attended school in the mortal realm, he was a lone angel, because people didn't want to be friends with him, out of jealousy towards his looks.
But, despite being a lone angel. He was VERY sassy.
He still is here and there. But due to what happened with the Seductive Rose, he's more of a shell of his former self, more than anything.
After being proven time and time again, in the human realm, that he couldn't count on anyone, except his Dad.
He became sassy, self reliant, but also touch starved.
When he went to Camp Oasis for the first time, and was given the Seductive Rose, some of that sassiness returned, but that was Seductive Rose's sassiness, not his own.
After he is freed from the Seductive Rose, and cast out, he is broken inside, and has zero self esteem and self preservation.
When he slowly starts making new friends, his sassiness slowly returns. But it's not fully there anymore.
He's too afraid to be very sassy, because he fears it'll give Kay, Mario, and Xylo, flashbacks to when he was corrupted by the Seductive Rose.
So he keeps the sass to a minimum.
