The trip to my old pack, the pack my dad was currently in, would be a long one so instead of just disappearing out of the blue and worrying my pack with my sudden disappearance I told them the truth, well most of it anyway.

"I'm going to my old pack to visit my father" I said to the wolves crowding around me. I had convinced Eric to hold a pack meeting so I could tell them all of the news, me visiting my father didn't sound like a big deal but it was because it meant I would be overpowered and in another Alpha's territory and Eric's pack ran by the belief that if you hurt one of our members you hurt us all which is why I had chosen to join this pack in the first place.

"You'll be in danger in the Moon Pack" someone from the crowd said. The Moon Pack was the name of my old pack and it was true that I would be in danger because the Moon Pack didn't take well to traitors, and that was what I was. A traitor. But desperate times called for desperate measures and it was about time I faced my father and after Will's harsh words it was official that I had nothing to live for. In this moment there was no other solution I could think of that was better than death because death meant no pain.

"I will be in danger" I replied truthfully "but that's a risk I'm willing to take, I need to see my father" havoc arose. The whole pack was arguing over whether or not I should go.

"Quiet!" Eric shouted and immediately silence followed

"It would be cruel to keep Shanan away from her father" again the crowd erupted into shouts, he continued, effectively making them be quiet "however it is unsafe therefore she will be accompanied by Will" what?

"No" I looked up into the crowd searching for the person who had objected, it was Will.

"That's an order" Eric boomed in his Alpha tone, giving no room for arguments "meeting dismissed" everyone left the room, leaving Eric, Will and I.

"I'm not going" Will said immediately

"And I'm not leaving one of my pack members unprotected. If you choose not to go then Shanan will have to stay back as well" Eric said

"Can't someone else go with me?" I asked even though I already knew the answer would be no

"As much as I'd hate to admit it, Will is the only person who could hold his own in a fight against me which makes him fit to protect you and you of all people should know what a vicious pack the Moon Pack is" I nodded and saw Will stiffen

"Yes Alpha" and with that I walked off

"Be ready bright and early" I said to Will and then I made my way to my apartment.

"Shanan!" I squealed as Neena launched herself at me

"I haven't seen you in forever and we share the same bloody apartment" she exclaimed

"I know" I said with a sigh, I really had missed Neena

"Well spill the beans about Will, is he all romantic now" I shook my head glumly and she gave me a confused look. With a sigh I filled her in on everything.

"Wow he is a major jerk" I smiled at her

"Ditto"

"Don't worry he'll come around, I'll make sure of it" Neena got this dangerous glint in her eyes which could only mean one thing

"Please don't tell me your going to play match maker" I said to Neena with a groan, she smiled which only confirmed my fears.

Will better be prepared to be thrown into a lot of awkward situations.
