I walked through the town with my head held high. They whispered, they shouted monstrosities at me, they glared and pointed and stared but what more could I expect, I was after all a traitor. I had brought shame to my father's name, a man who was looked up to. Then there was Will, they eyed him with regret and remorse as though they were pained to lose someone they held so dear to themselves. No one had been officially informed that Will had changed packs and was also a traitor but the scent of another pack gave it away.
"What are you doing here?" A girl appeared before me, seemingly out of thin air. Before I had left I had had friends whom had once cared for me. Four years ago, the girl who now looked at me with such disdain, had been my best friend. The one who I cried to, shared my deepest secrets with, the friend who I had not bothered saying goodbye to but how could I have bared to see anyone in my pack after uncovering the truth
"Lisa, it's been a long time" I acknowledged, keeping my voice emotionless and detached
"Not long enough" her platinum, blonde hair was now black and her glasses had been replaced with contacts. Her signature long pants had been replaced with a mini shirt and her loose jumpers replaced by a tank top. She was the epitome of gorgeousness but she was a stranger. The girl I had been best friend's with had been timid and shy with a heart of gold and yet the girl standing before me was sleek and gorgeous and carried an air of confidence that I never thought she would accomplish. This girl was foreign to me and as was everyone else, these people were no longer the ones I had grown up with.

"Leave" she commanded, motivated by her bravery to stand up to me, others joined her
"We don't want you!" People yelled
"Go away!" Others yelled. Either way there were no warm welcomes.
"Enough!" Yelled a booming voice that seemed to echo throughout what was now utter silence, the voice was commanding and authoritative, and it was a voice I would always recognise
"Welcome back Shanan" he said in an eerily calm tone
"Father".
