I went upstairs after my meetings and I laid in my bed closing my eyes. I heard the door open and then the bed dipped. I opened my eyes when I heard her sigh.
"Are you okay?" she asked me
"Yes darling now that I'm with you" I said pulling her into my arms with my eyes still closed. I kissed her shoulder and felt her looking at me. She kissed me on the lips softly and I moaned feeling myself stiffen. Just like that I was ready to fuck her.
"Get some rest" she said moving away from my hold
"Where are you going?" I asked and then opened my eyes to see her dressed
I frowned.
"Home" she said and I groaned
"I need some sleep" I said "I can't sleep if I'm worried about you"
"Then don't worry about me. I'll be fine." She said
"That's impossible. Please stay." I begged and she looked at me
"Until you go to sleep." She said and I groaned but nodded
"Fine" I said under my breath
She took her jacket off and shoes crawling into my bed.
I pulled her into me resting my face in the crook of her neck. I felt my eyelids get heavy. I didn't want to fall asleep because I didn't want her to leave but if I didn't get any rest I'd be dead tomorrow.
"Have alphonso drive you home please" I said and she kissed me on my hand that was locked into hers
"Okay." She said and I drifted into sleep before hearing her say something. "Thank you for chasing me when I tried to run away. I would've regretted it."

Ellie POV
When he fell asleep I was able to release myself from his grip. I kissed his forehead before getting out the bed and putting my shoes on. I put my jacket on and left out the room not without looking at him once more. He looked so peaceful. He was gorgeous even in his sleep. Miles had an effect on me and I never wanted it to end. I went downstairs after closing the door softly. I saw a group of guys in Miles office. I figured Alphonso would be in there.
"Hi. Alphonso?" I said at the door and the men stopped talking all eyeing me.
"Cameron actually" I heard from behind me and turned around to see a man with jet black hair and a sharp jawline. He had tattoos trailing along his hands. He had tattoos up his neck and behind his ear. He had to be at least 6'0 and I looked at him. He was ridiculously attractive and looked at me like prey. I knew his type.
"I was actually looking for Alphonso" I said crossing my arms. I hated the way he stared at me.
"He left for an errand. How can I be of a help?" Cameron asked crossing his arms and leaning onto the doorframe
"I'm good thanks" I said walking off but he grabbed my arm
"Wait. Can I at least get your name?" He asked and I shook my head
"No" I said "You can ask Miles for it though"
He smirked. "Ah. The mystery girl. Ellie I assume" He said
"Where's Alphonso?" I asked
"There's that amazing charm I've heard about." He said
"Sadly I've heard nothing about you" I said and he laughed
"I like you" He said
"The feeling isn't mutual." I said removing my arm from his hold
He smirked again.
"What did you need Alphonso for?" He asked
"To take me home" I said and he nodded
"I can give you a ride." Cameron said
"I'm good" I said
"Ellie. It's the least I can do. For taking up your time. Miles would kill me if I didn't." He said
"Would he? He told me to ride with Alphonso. So it seems like taking a ride with a man I just met wouldn't be on the list of things that makes Miles happy" I said
"I'm helping a friend out." He said
"We're not friends" I said
"Good. Let's go" He said pushing off the doorway and walking to the front door.
He walked off and I debated going with him. "Ellie I'm not taking no for an answer."
Insufferable men. I followed him out the door. We walked to a red sports car and he opened my door for me. I got in and he got into the drivers seat. He started the car and drove off.
"I didn't give you my address." I said
"I have a stop to make first sweetheart." He said and I rolled my eyes
He smirked. "You're such a delight" He said sarcastically "God you must be fun to be around"
"Are you going to insult me the whole ride?" I asked him
"Maybe" He said and I looked at him. As he drove his suit sleeve rose revealing his tattoo on his arm. It had to be a sleeve.
"You like the ink?" He asked when he noticed me staring
"It's not the worst thing" I said
"That's the closest to a compliment I'm getting from you huh?" He asked and I nodded
He laughed. His teeth were beautiful. I couldn't help but stare. Something about him was scary but exciting. His dark energy reminded me of Damian and I couldn't help but feel wary of him.
"Thanks for driving me home" I said
"You'd rather me take you than anyone else at the house looking at you like they wanted to eat you." He said with emphasis on the word eat that didn't stop me from biting my lip
"They didn't say anything to me though." I said
"Because I was there. Next time you don't see Alphonso, you look for me." He said
"I'm supposed to trust you?" I asked raising my brow
"No not at all." He said looking at me. I felt his eyes roam my body in the seat as we sat at the stop light.
"That's helpful" I said looking away from him
"You know you're attractive. Your sex appeal is unwavering. Whether that be on purpose or accidental. You shouldn't trust any man but Miles." He said and I looked at him
We stood in silence. "I thought you were so different from them looking at me like they wanted to "eat" me"
I said putting up air quotes while saying eat.
"Oh no I wanted to devour you Ellie. There's a difference but I respect boundaries. I won't step on Miles toes." He said
I stared at him and soon he looked ahead pressing the gas when the light turned green.
