🎈CHAPTER 23🎈
°Carlita's POV°
"Carli, we're going to visit Liliana's parents, you have the house to yourself for a few hours!" Alex's voice came from the otherside of my door, why he thinks I'll actually have company over while they aren't here, had me questioning his sanity, sometimes I feel like he knows more than I do about certain things I can't seem to remember.
"Okay, enjoy!"
I listened as they all got out of the house in a hurry, and the car speeding out of the driveway, something important must be happening if they are in such a hurry to get there.
I made my way to the kitchen, making me some coffee and grabbing some of Alex's snacks he hides away from his children.
I got comfortable on the couch and put some random horror movie on, why I insist watching these things by myself every time, I didn't know myself, but that was how I preferred it.
Somewhere along the movie I must have fallen asleep, because I jolted awake, staring at the tv with wide eyes, hearing my phone ring in the kitchen, i got off the coach lazily making my way to the counter where i remember leaving my phone.
It was a number that wasn't saved in my contacts.
Looking closer the call was made from Derry, Maine.
My entire body froze, a sudden unpleasant chill ran up my spine, as I picked up the phone my entire body was shaking, and the cut on my hand started stinging very badly.
Accepting the call, I placed the phone against my ear after taking a deep breath to calm my nerves.
"Hello?"
"Hey. Carlita Horner, this is Mike, Mike Hanlon from Derry."
I wasn't sure what to think, my brain was suddenly getting pictures that I've no memory of for so long, it was giving me a headache.
"How can I help you?" Was all I could ask.
"You need to come back, we made an oath, all of us. Please. We need you."
My only thoughts at that exact moment was....
Fuck....
