°Carlita's POV°
Bill pulled away from the hug, grabbing my face looking for injuries. "Billy, you can let go. I'm fine." I told him softly. Mike joined us not long after.
"What?" Eddie asks looking behind him. I looked at each of their faces, but one face seemed to be missing.
"Guys, where's Stan?" Richie asks.
"Stanley!"
"Stanley!"
"Stan!"
We moved forward calling out to him, we got to the opening on the otherside, it led them straight into the sewers. "Oh, shit. Greywater." Richie says as he jumped into the water, the rest of us following behind him, there was no time to be disgusted by the sewer water, Stan was in trouble.
"Stan?" Ben whispers.
"Stan?"
"Stanley!"
Stanley's scream rang out through the walls, I ran as quickly as my legs could take me, following his screams, I could careless about the others, Stan was in trouble and he needed us.
"Stan!"
"Shit! Stan!"
We got to a closed metal door. "Stanley!" We put our strength together to try and open the door. "We're coming, man!" Mike yelled. "Stan, just hold on, I'm on my way, okay, don't worry, we're coming!" I yelled as loudly as I could hoping he was able to hear me, as I put more strength to push the door open.
The door finally budged and opened up, we ran through the doors.
"Stan?"
"Stanley! Stan!"
"His flashlight." Eddie says, going to pick it up. Around a corner we found Stanley laying on the floor, and a deformed faced woman trying to eat his face off. "What the fuck is that thing?" Richie yells in question, we must've scared it, because it was pulling away from Stanley's face slowly.
"Oh shit." I whisper.
"Oh shit." Richie says.
It retreated back hiding around the corner, when it showed its face again, it was the clown, smiling at us. "Oh shit, oh shit." It must have lured Stanley in the appearance of his fear, and then it disappeared.
"Stanley!" I yell running towards him.
"Stanley! Stan!"
"Stanley!"
Eddie helped me sitting him up straight. "No! No! No!" Stanley yells out. "It's okay." Bill says to him. "You left me! You took me into Neibolt! You're not my friends! You made me go into Neibolt!" Stanley yelled out in tears, it broke my heart to see him like this, I could feel the tears running down my own cheeks.
"Stanley, I'm sorry." Eddie says, "You made me go into Neibolt! This is your fault." Stanley says through his sobbing.
I took his face in my hands, making him look at me, "Stan, I'm sorry that I let go of your hand, you know that I won't let anything ever happen to you." I told him, wiping his tears away.
"We would never let anything happen to you. We're here for you." Eddie told him in reassurance. "You know we wouldn't do that to you. Come on." Ben added as we all were hugging Stanley.
"Bill! Bill!" Eddie yells, we all turned to see he was gone, we got up.
"Bill!"
"Bill!"
I helped Stanley up holding his hand, as we followed behind the others.
"Bill!"
"Bill! Bill!"
Eddie tripped and fell into the water, making him gag. "Come on. Get out of there, dude, that's greywater." Richie states.
"Wait, wait, wait. Oh my god, my fucking flashlight." Eddie panics, heads started popping out from under the water, making us scream at the sight.
"Eddie!" Richie yells, we all screamed more as more heads appeared. "Come on, let's get the fuck out of here! Come on!" Richie yells helping Eddie up as we ran forward.
"Holy shit!" Richie says.
"Bev? Bev?" Mike whisper yells.
"Beverly?" I call out for her.
We found the Marsh girl floating in the air.
"Holy shit."
"Bev." Ben whispers.
"How is she in the air?" Richie asks, we all looking up at her body. "Guys. Are those..." Eddie points up to see other bodies floating too. "The missing kids. Floating." Stanley says.
This creature was completely inhuman.
"Just let me grab her." Ben says, trying to reach Beverly, mike helped Ben as he grabs her leg pulling her down.
"Shit."
"I'm slipping." Ben tells the two helping him.
They were back on the ground, Stanley held my hand tighter. "Bev." Ben says, holding the girls head, her eyes seemed to be glazed over. "Beverly." He tried shaking her awake, but it didn't work.
"Why isn't she waking up? What's wrong with her?" Ben asks, looking at us for an answer. "Beverly, please! Come on!" Ben begs hugging Beverly. This was so heartbreaking to watch.
Ben did the unthinkable and pulled her in for a kiss.
"Wow."
It was a shock to all of us. Beverly gasps for air, taking a step back.
"Bev?" Ben asks. "January Embers." Beverly says softly. "My heart burns there too." Ben told her.
"Jesus fuck." Richie spoke up ruining their moment. "Oh, god." Another group hug, but this time I had no negative feelings towards the girl.
