•Carlita's POV•

The silence was killing me, the entire walk home Bill refused to look at me or say a word. I couldn't understand why he was angry, I didn't actually do anything wrong, or I didn't think that I did.

"I'm sorry." I mutter softly, it's best to apologize now, even if I didn't do no wrong. The angered look on his face seemed to dim down just a little as he stop walking.

"You d-did nothing wrong I w-w-was s-supposed to n-notice something was wrong." he says turning to me, the sad look on his face.

"Bill, it's okay." I say in reassurance.

"No, i-it's n-not."

I knew very well he was feeling guilty towards me, thinking that I should be angry at him, but I would rather take care of him, he had the softest heart, which made him most soft hearted person I knew, so I had to look after him, protect him from those cruel jerks.

"Bill, you gotta stop blaming yourself, you have done nothing wrong." I state, I saw we finally arrived home, I leaned towards kissing him on his cheek.

"I'll see you tomorrow Denbrough."

I walked into the empty house, every day I hope that mom or dad would actually talk to me, but they never do, they'll leave notes, if they might be late or have plans, Steven was the only ine that still treated me normally, and with him going away this summer, I'll be alone, because I knew very well that my parents blamed me for Alex going missing, but deep down I blamed myself just as much.

I entered my room, throwing my bag in the corner, where I'll forget about it through out the summer. I fell on my bed like a starfish, my face hid in my pillows, I was so tired, but I didn't wanna close my eyes, the nightmares would creep into my dreams.

My closet door suddenly flung open, scaring the shit out of me, I sat up, staring, scratching on my floor, voices talking over each other, it sounded more like children's voices.

What made my tongue get caught in my throat, was when my little brother, who has been missing, came crawling out, one of his legs missing, his clothes wet and muddy, he brought the smell of sewer and death into my room, his face was almost completely unrecognisable.

"Carli..." He started crying, I couldn't move I was frozen to my bed, I wasn't able to, breathing I wasn't sure if I was.

"Billy, doesn't want you..."

Did I really fall asleep, was this just another nightmare, I pinched myself, only showing me I wasn't dreaming, when it hurt.

"Carli, you should come with me, you can float with me, you'll be able to float too..." His voice sounded more demonic with each word he spoke.

He started chanting the same thing over and over again, fear started creeping up my spine, the louder he chanted in the demonic voice.

"You'll float too..."

It felt like a thousand children yelling in my head, I covered my ears, trying to keep the noise out, when it got quiet all of a sudden, I knew something wasn't right, I was in the presence of something more evil.

I slowly looked up, looking straight into yellow demonic glowing eyes, piercing through my soul.

A clown, a red balloon in his hands, he was licking his lips like he was looking at a very tasty meal.

"Carlita,  why don't you join us, you'll can be free, you'll float with the rest of the kids!" the clown says, opening his mouth, showing it's rows of teeth.

It came charging straight at me, I rolled of my bed making a run for the door, I screamed as he almost took a bite out of my flesh, with the back door just in sight, I ran as quick as I could through the door, without looking back, only when I got outside, and looked back did the clown disappear like it was never there.

I climbed up into Alex's treehouse, my breathing was uneven and very shaky, I layed down on the floor holding one of his teddies close to my chest trying my best to calm my breathing and my beating heart.
