•Carlita's POV•

The door was creaking as Bill pushed it open, Richie and Eddie following, entering the house, the smell that entered my nose, wasn't all that refreshing, it felt like death slapped me in the face.

On the inside the place was covered with roots and cobwebs, it was super dusty and very dirty, I tried keeping all smells away from my nose.

"I can't believe I pulled the short straw. You guys are lucky you're not measuring dicks." Richie says, it was kinda refreshing that someone was trying to lighten up our spirits, even if we might end up dying today. "Shut up, Richie." Eddie snaps softly.

I never put much thought into it, but Eddie and Richie fights like an old married couple, every single day. "I can smell it." Eddie says, talking about the smell of the stench of death lurking in this house.

"Don't breathe through your mouth." Richie told him.

"How come?" Eddie asks.

I tried my best to stick close to Bill, to say I was scared was an understatement, I was terrified. "Because than your eating it." Richie states. I took a look around, turning around to where Richie was standing holding something in his hands, staring at it in bewilderment.

"What?" Bill ask, as we approached him.

"It... It says I'm missing." Richie says nervously.

"You're n-not missing, Richie." Bill tried telling him calmly.

"Police Department, City of Derry. That's my shirt, that's my hair, that's my face." Richie says, his voice raising in panic. Eddie and I looked at each other not use to see him like this.

"Calm down, this isn't real." Bill told him, trying to take the poster from his hands.

"That's my name. That's my age. That's the date!" Richie kept on freaking out, I couldn't stand and watch this anymore, he was the only one that always tries to make the rest of us laugh and smile, seeing him acting this way, it broke my heart.

I grabbed his face, making him look at me. "Rich, it's not real." I told him softly.

"No, it says it! What the fuck? Am I missing? Am I gonna go missing?" Richie asks, still freaking out, this would be harder than I thought.

"Richie, look at me, look me in the eyes. That clown is only playing tricks on you, none of this is real." I say looking him straight in the eyes as I caressed the side of his face, as a way of calming him down.

Richie did the unexpected and hugged me, as I way to see if I'm actually real. I patted his shoulder in comfort, Bill was glaring at Richie's arms. Richie finally released me from the hug mumbling a thank you.

"Hello?"

We all turned around, when we heard the voice, calling out.

"Hello?"

The voice sounded like it came from upstairs, I started walking upstairs the others following right behind me, the sounds of someone gasping for air, even the squeaking rats seemed to cover in fear. I got to the second floor, down the only hallway it had, a door was wide open, a girl laying on the floor, choking, which looked like blood, I was only able to stare at the girl.

"Betty?"

"Ripsom?"

Her body was dragged away, I took a step back in fear, but after a few seconds we started walking towards the room, which was probably the dumbest thing we could do. All of our breathing was unnatural with each step the floor creaked under our feet, stepping into the room, it was empty.

"She was just here. Where the fuck did she go?" Richie asked, as we stood in the room.

The door slammed shut behind us, turning to the door seeing it was indeed close.

"Guys! Guys!" Eddie yells from the otherside.

"What? Eddie?" Bill asks as we tried to open the door, trying to get to him, but the door didn't wanna budge. The commotion coming from the other side of the door had me worried.

"Eddie! Open the door!" Bill begged, as we kept on struggling with the damn door.

"You okay?"

"What's going on, Eddie?"

"Eds. Eddie!"

Another door slammed shut, but no Richie.

"Richie?"

"Richie!"

Bill dashed to the door Richie disappeared behind, the doors in this place all seemed to be jammed, because none of them wanted to open.

"Bill, come on, open the door. It won't open!" Richie yelled from the other side.

"What's going on? Richie!"

"I can't!"

"Open the door Rich."

Bill slammed his shoulder against the door, hard, the door finally opened, I grabbed Richie's shirt pulling him out of the room, were the clown was running at us, Bill closed the door before it got to close.

"Let's get outta here." Bill sayd, grabbing my hand, making sure I don't end up getting separated from them too.
