Part 41

The morning after the wedding everyone had breakfast together in the ballroom. Lauren and Chris were leaving that afternoon for their honeymoon, most of the guests were staying an extra couple of days and the hotel was opening up to other guests with check in later that afternoon. Lauren and Chris weren't too concerned as they had, had their day now.

Both Lauren and Chris sat there, phones open ready to announce their marriage to their followers. Lauren had chosen a photo of her and Chris taken on the beach, arms around each other, huge smiling faces at each other. It was one their photographer had given them as a quick turnaround before the rest were to be available. She also chose a photo of her getting ready plus one of the few photos she took herself which was of multiple people dancing. She had the very simple caption of yesterday's date 17.10.24 ♥️ Chris had gone for a photo of the pair walking back down the aisle smiling plus one of him and some of his friends, Simon, Arthur, Theo, Reev, Harry and George, with the caption husband material. They posted at the same time and with it being afternoon in the UK it gained traction quite quickly.

For their honeymoon the couple were visiting a few different Caribbean islands and were due to be away for two weeks.

"Can I ask you a question?" Lauren enquired as she came into the bedroom from having a shower. The pair had just spent some time together in the jacuzzi and Lauren needed to clean herself up. Just before they had sex Chris had asked Lauren if she was still on contraceptive but there was something about the way he asked or more so something about his facial expression when said yes.

"I need at least an hour," Chris replied from his position laying on the bed, his hands behind his head. Lauren thought it was a big cliche that newly married couples spent most of their time having sex but when you're alone, on a high from getting married and in romantic hotels with nothing to do of course it was going to happen a lot.

"It's not that. When I said I was still on contraception, you, well you almost looked disappointed. I didn't realise this was on the cards for you so soon." Lauren came out with it straight away, not wanting to start the marriage off treading on eggshells and forever wondering what was meant.

"Nor did I. Up until a few weeks ago it's just been all I can think about. Look it's your body, I'm happy to be led by you," Chris answered honestly, patting the space next to him motioning for Lauren to sit next to him. She did just that and Chris sat up also as they faced each other.

"I think you're going to be the best dad, I'm just not sure I'm going to be the best mum. Not yet anyway, we're coming up to quarter four which you know is the busiest for Youtube and I've got a ton of stuff to film..." Lauren started, Chris stopped her and gave her a hug.

"Lauren there is no pressure from me. I mean it when I say this is your choice," Chris said sternly, he didn't want his wife to feel pressure in any way, his wife. He still got butterflies in his stomach when he thought about that, Lauren was his wife.

"I do want to have a family with you, I really do. Maybe, maybe in the new year we can just see how it goes. My contraception needs to come out then anyway if it happens then well it was just meant to be wasn't it," Lauren suggested giving Chris a small smile.
