Both Chris and Lauren had a love of travelling; they had done it a lot separately before they were a couple and now they were joined they took every opportunity they had to make a trip together, be it a quick night or two in the UK or somewhere longer and further afield. They were currently in the Lake District enjoying the very last of the nice UK weather. They had decided to walk up Hallin Fell to get a clearer view of the water below them, it wasn't a long walk but the ground was wet in places as you would expect, it being near the water.

"I'm going to fall on my arse I know it," Lauren complained, she was dressed appropriately in some black running leggings and an olive green T-shirt but was more worried about making a fool out of herself, not that Chris would mind.

"I'll help you up. I'll laugh but I'll help you up," Chris replied honestly as he grabbed Lauren's hand being a couple of steps ahead. They continued to climb up as quickly as they could, getting out their go pros and filming when they reached the summit.

"Wow it's gorgeous!" Chris looked down as Lauren finished her final two steps and also looked down and the hills and water below.

"It is, there's a lot to be said about the UK but it does have some nice bits," Lauren mused as she looked out in front of her. Chris sneaked an arm around her and she looked at him flashing a smile.

"What's on your mind?" He asked. Lauren had been a little quiet all day, it was always a sign something was on her mind. Lauren smiled, feeling warm that Chris knew her so well, she took a seat on the rock behind her and Chris followed. Lauren dug her phone from her pocket, scrolling a little before handing it to Chris.

"It came through this morning, the question is do we go for it?" Lauren asked as she watched Chris scroll through.

"It's got everything," Chris uttered now looking at the house on Google Maps. Excitement bubbled through his stomach as he thought about the potential.

"I mean, we're home tomorrow so we could view it? I see no harm in taking a look plus if it's gone then it just wasn't meant to be." Lauren was trying to stay calm about everything, she couldn't believe in a few short weeks they had gone from just messing about to potentially viewing a property but everything in her was telling her how right this felt, how right Chris was and how much she valued their time together. It wasn't like Chris spent many nights at his flat anyway.

Lauren requested a viewing as Chris looked out to the water. He took a bottle of water out of his bag and drank some before offering it to Lauren who took it graciously.

"Just waiting for them to get back to me, hope I don't lose signal." She smiled nervously.

"You might when we go back down. Don't worry, as you said if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be." Chris reassured and Lauren nodded. They stayed up there for a little while longer before heading back down, both having a near miss by slipping on some mud, they then went back to their hotel and got ready for their dinner that night.

It was the next day and the pair had rushed from their trip straight to a viewing for the house and so far it was living up to expectations. It had a whopping seven bedrooms, a living room plus a separate office space already set up so they only needed to convert one of the other bedrooms into another office space for the other person to film. It also had a gym and most importantly lots of green space outside.

"We'd never have to move again!" Lauren exclaimed to Chris excitedly as they were finishing walking through the house themselves. They were both incredibly excited at the prospect of well and truly building a life together but both of them knew they were incredibly naïve when it came to the house buying process.
