The end of wedding season was marked by Vik's wedding to his fiance Ellie in Malta. It had been hidden to the fans and the press in the hope of having a stress free day. Sadly it wasn't to be and word had got out after people were seen on the island in the days leading up to the wedding. Some fans must have followed as now, as people were leaving the hotel to go to the venue there were a group of photographers outside as well as fans and it was chaos.

"Lucky you guys went public or you'll be thrust into a hard launch right now." Faith said to Lauren and Chris as she was trying to think of ways to hide Olive's face from all the cameras.

"I just feel for Vik and Ellie," Lauren replied. "And I'm now slightly regretting wearing these shoes," Lauren looked down at her silver shoes, she'd changed them but all of her accessories matched and also complemented her navy halter dress. Lauren knew it wasn't the most summery colour but it complimented her red hair too well to not wear it. It had a chiffon style skirt with a slit so would hopefully be cool enough

"We just have to go and face it," Chris shrugged grabbing onto Lauren's hand. Will and Mia went first followed by Chris and Lauren hoping to clear a path for the Sidemen boys. Chris led Lauren slightly, hands held tight as Lauren made her way down the steps in her shoes before they got onto the bus ready to take them to the venue.

"Eloping sounds better by each wedding," Chris commented and Lauren's cheeks flushed, was Chris really thinking that far ahead about their future?

Despite the intrusion everyone tried to put it behind them and enjoy the way. It was one of their few days off as the Sidemen Charity match was fast approaching.

"How are you feeling about it?" Lauren asked Chris as he was packing his bag. Everyone involved in the match was due to eat dinner together the night before and they were staying in hotel rooms that night in order to be fresh for the morning. Lauren was going to be attending in the stadium, she usually did but this year had an extra reason.

"I feel a little bit nervous with you watching in all honesty," Chris admitted.

"I won't come then," Lauren replied cheekily with a glint in her eyes. Chris loved that little hint of mischief in Lauren's eyes. It was something he didn't notice before they got together but since he did notice it he couldn't get enough of it.

"Please do, there's something quite special about you watching me play." Chris gave one of his signature cheeky grins which Lauren returned, he could be so sweet.

"I'll be there cheering you on don't worry. Sitting there with the other WAGs," Lauren joked, she liked to think she was a little further removed than typical footballer WAGs, not that she had anything against them but it simply wasn't her thing. The whole group chat had the Sidemen wives and girlfriends joking about who would be which wag. Talia joking suggested Lauren would be Victoria Beckham because Lauren had made her own clothes before and VB had her clothing label, there was also the comparison of Beckham and Chris both being brilliant at free kicks.

"Just don't start a Wagatha Christie scandal," Chris warned jokingly.

"Only if you don't have sex with someone who then goes off to wank a pig on live TV."

"Deal." The two shared a giggled before sealing the deal with a kiss, both thinking their favourite thing was simply just being goofy with each other.

Chris's phone buzzed, it was Harry letting him know himself and Freezy were going to make their way downstairs as the car was ready to pick the three of them up. Chris picked up his backpack swinging it over his shoulder as he sent Lauren a small smile. The reason why he doesn't leave Lauren very often was because he hated it, it was much easier to just stay.
