The Sidemen were filming one of the biggest videos they have done in a while. It was a travel video in Australia , a race video to be exact and a lot of other Youtubers were invited. Both Lauren and Chris were asked to come along but they decided to only have one of them go along, they would either have been pitted against each other in a bitter rivalry which they didn't want a focus on or they would have been on the same team and people would have made jokes about it. They flipped a coin and fate decided that Chris would be the one to go.
"It's going to be so hard not to say anything about the wedding," Chris moaned as he packed his suitcase. He was due at the airport in two hours and had only just started packing, Lauren didn't know how he did it, she would have been riddled with anxiety by now. It was one of the reasons why they worked so well, Chris had a more laid back attitude when it came to things like that.
"You'll be fine, or I could just go instead," Lauren winked. She did really want to go but Chris won fair and square.
"Don't you dare, the idea of you being at home is going to spur me on to keep things a secret, I'm not having I told you so either."
"Yeah that would be a fate worse than death," Lauren giggled as she took another look at Chris.
"How are you going to get Arthur's suit size?" Lauren asked. Chris was going to try and find out Arthur's suit size and they were going to surprise him with it the day of the wedding or the day before. Lauren was simply going to go shopping with the girls for dresses under the guise of just looking around and having a girly day out, without revealing that they had set a date.
"Get him drunk and get him naked? Same as always," Chris joked and Lauren smiled. Chris and Arthur had such a wonderful friendship and were both incredibly funny together when they were drunk.
"It's a miracle he's put up with you for so long," Lauren commented and Chris shrugged.
When Chris went away it hit Lauren quite hard. She realised it had been a long time since they had spent any considerable amount of time apart and on thinking about it Lauren realised they had hardly spent any time apart as a couple since they had got together, only the odd couple of days here and there. With the time differences there was also a very small window of opportunity for them to talk in a day.
It was the morning that Lauren and the girls were going to go shopping, they had two different shops they were due to go to for bridesmaids dresses only, Lauren was also going to keep her dress a surprise. The morning's for Lauren was early evening for Chris and the chance where they got to speak so Lauren facetimed Chris, she frowned a little when it went unanswered but after a few seconds she received a call.
"Hey!" Lauren called out, Chris looked like he was out somewhere, probably why he didn't answer straight away. When she saw him on the screen Lauren smiled widely at the blue eyed boy who had a sloppy smile on his face and his eyes were slightly glazed over, the boys had obviously been drinking.
"Hello gorgeous," Chris commented and Lauren blushed, how did he still make her do that?
"Having fun?" Lauren asked as she took a sip of her coffee, it was still very strange to her that they were on completely opposite timetables currently.
"Yep. I miss you though," Chris said Lauren then laughed as Harry and Stephen came into shot shouting various forms of "disgusting" and "simp" and various sick and gagging noises.
"Can you go away I'm trying to talk to my fiance," Chris sighed pushing Stephen slightly but the ginger male made his way back into the frame.
"Ooo look at me I'm getting married and suddenly I'm a poet," he mocked.
