Lauren scanned her videos comments as she always did just to get a sense of whether people enjoyed it or not. It wasn't something she spent too long doing, just wanted to get an overall idea of feedback and she liked a couple of comments that might have made her laugh or smile. Of course since it was the first video she posted since the engagement a lot of the comments were about that and not the content of the video.

"What have I told you about reading too many comments," Chris stated as he leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed in front of him.

"Just doing my usual," Lauren replied, she closed the browser and turned her chair to face Chris.

"What's up?" Chris asked, reading Lauren's expression on her face immediately,

"You don't think we're rushing into things do you? I don't think we are. I know things have been quick but it all just feels so right." Chris walked over to Lauren, placed his hands in hers before pulling her up out of her chair.

"Considering I had that ring after about four months and proposed after ten no I don't, it could have been a lot sooner." Chris held Lauren and kissed the top of her head, Lauren nodded in agreement.

"I still can't believe you knew that early, that is a confident man!" Lauren smiled at her fiance who simply gave a laugh.

"When the time came I was absolutely bricking it let me tell you," Chris admitted. Most people saw through his football skills bravado, Lauren more than most so he loved how he could be completely honest with her despite his competitive streak. She let him be himself and gave him a good competition where she could, encouraged him when she could but also told him to tone it down when he was being too much and he loved it.

"Do you know what pisses me off about all of this though," Lauren said as she grabbed Chris's hand and led them to the kitchen where she opened the fridge in search of a drink.

"No go on."

"Remember Harry's bet that we would be married with a kid? I know neither of those things will probably happen this year but it still annoys me that he was right. When we first started seeing each other but not really seeing each other..." Lauren was interrupted by Chris as she grabbed a wine glass from the cabinet.

"Sleeping together," Chris corrected grabbing a beer out of the fridge. Lauren nodded and continued.

"Yeah, he said the whole friends with benefits stuff didn't suit either of us so we should just get together and get married and have kids and it just unnerves me so much that Harry fucking Lewis was right about a social situation. Creeps me out. I dunno if I want to bring up kids in a world where Wroetoshaw is right about something socially." Lauren finished pouring her wine and took a sip.

"That I agree with but it's only April, given how things have moved so far I wouldn't rule anything else out," Chris shrugged.

"Oh my God please don't tell me you've secretly planned our wedding and it's next weekend," Lauren pleaded.

"No! I know how much your family and friends mean to you I wouldn't do that to you. Although eloping does sound good."

"Tell me about it, whenever I start to think about what our day might look like I just think back to Vik's wedding where fans were being complete arseholes and it just makes me feel so bad." She added sadly, everyone could look back on it and laugh now but it did put somewhat of a dampener on the day although the couple wouldn't admit it in public.

"I don't think the cows in Jersey will give a shit, but we haven't got to decide anything right now." Chris reassured Lauren who smiled and nodded in agreement.
