"Do you want to play a game with us?" Sophia asked
"Yeah!" I replied sarcastically "Cause a game is a great idea! Let's all play! Survival!"
"You don't have to be so mean!" Sophia yelled as she walked away with Carl.
I immediately regretted not saying yes. It was actually fun to play with them, well it looked fun. I never actually played with anyone. Even before the apocalypse, I always played by myself. I wasn't allowed to talk to the other children. Even if I was, they were scared of daddy and Merle so they tried to avoid me. No one ever tried to mess with me. I was snapped back into reality when I heard the radio. Everyone crowded around the radio, trying to listen. I didn't move from my spot on the floor. The adults started talking about the roads and signs. I zoned out again because they never said anything that concerned me. I'm the youngest so they basically let me do what I want, as long as I don't wander too far.

I was searching the forest, looking for berries and other stuff when I heard moaning but not walkers kind of moaning, pleasure moans. I followed the sound and I saw something that will scar me for life. Shane and Lori were doing the dirty. I gasped but covered my mouth and walked away. If Shane saw me, he would go mad. Not only did I find out about his dirty little secret but I was out when I shouldn't be! I started running back to camp when I tripped over. I went to get back up but there was a walker coming at me. I screamed.
"HELP!" I yelled at the top of my voice.
I was petrified. This was the first time that I've ever seen a geek up close. The walker grabbed my leg but I kicked it in the face. I saw Dale run over and he shot the walker. I ran and hugged him. He put his arm around me and lead me back to camp.
When I got to camp I ran over to my tent. I just laid down on my sleeping bag. I then got bored of trying to sleep so I got up and wondered around the forest. I know that it's stupid but I was bored. I laid down on the ground. I watched the trees move in the wind. It looked so pretty, so peaceful. I just loved watching the wind make the trees dance.

I waited. Waiting for daddy to come back. He, like always, was hunting.
"What are you doing, Jas" Dale shouted.
"Waiting for daddy to come back" I replied, walking back to camp.
They didn't like it when I went off too far away from camp. I sat by the fire. Watching the flames. "Try to not wonder too far away from the camp, anything could happen to you" Lori says, I just roll my eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at Lori!" Shane yells at me, jokingly.
"I'll do what I wanna do! I'll roll my eyes at anyone I want" I reply to Shane which earns a few laughs but everyone immediately stops because Shane gives them a glare.
"I'll tell your father" Shane said more calmly.
"What's he gonna do? Ground me? The world has gone to shit!" I remind him
"Language!" Carol says as she walks past "Your father may allow you to swear but not in front of my daughter"
"Whatever!" I shout and start walking off when I stop. "Can you hear that?"
"What is it, Dale?" Shane asks.
"A car alarm" Dale replies.
Suddenly a red noisy car drives up and Glenn jumps out. Jim and Dale get to work on taking it apart. The words go right past me and I just hug Glenn.
"Where's everyone else?" I ask
"Wasn't you listening?" He asks and I shake my head "They're in a van behind" he told me.
"I'm glad you're safe" I replied.
"Only because of officer friendly- a cop from down the way- that first nearly got us killed but then he saved us." He informed me.
Just as he said that the van pulled up. I watched, waiting for Merle. I didn't like him but he was still my uncle. I watched Carl reunite with his dad which made me smile. I then realised that Merle wasn't there. I looked around, starting to get worried.
"Where's Merle?" I asked.
"Well, erm..." Glenn muttered, looking at his feet.
"Where is my uncle! Answer me now! Or I'll get fucking angry!" I started yelling.
"Jasmine, calm down. Please" Glenn said, trying to calm me down. The cop walked over from Carl and Lori, he bent down.
"Well, your uncle was putting the group in danger, so I handcuffed him to the roof" he explained.
"YOU WHAT?!" I yelled.
I started crying. I hated Carl's dad! I started punching him. I've got weak punches so it didn't hurt but Glenn pulled me into his arms and restrained me in a hug. "How could you leave him?!"
"Shh..." Glenn soothingly whispered in my ear.
"I'm sorry, I di..." Carl's dad started
"He's my uncle!" I yelled. More tears poured out of my eyes. Glenn held me closer.
Glenn kept me by his side all night. He only let me go to the loo by myself, any other time he was standing right next to me, making sure that I didn't have a hissy fit and attack anyone with my tiny punches.
