~"You've come to join me?" My mother asked.
"No, just a visit" I told her.
"Why do you chose to live it that horrible world?" She questioned
"Because the people are great! They're nice, caring and loving" I whispered
"Then why did you get shot?" She asked, intrigued
"Because I saved my friend!" She just laughed.
"Aw, how sweet(!) Are you two going to ride off into the sunset(?)" She was being sarcastic.~

Carl's POV

I fell on the floor on my side. She pushed. I turned to see her and she was on her back. She took the bullet for me... Her eyes were closed. I looked at the bullet wound and there was blood everywhere. I grabbed her face. "Wake up! Please!" I yelled tears falling of my face onto her. Suddenly Shane grabbed me. "PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled.
"Give her some space." Shane told me.

We finally got to the house. The man was a doctor apparently.
"Was she bit?" A man asks us
"No. Shot. By your man" Dad yells, he's covered in Jas' blood.
"Otis?" A woman asks.
The old man starts walking towards us. "He said find Hershel! Is that you?" Dad asked and the old man nodded. "Help me! Help the girl!"
"Get her inside" Hershel yells and they all walk back in. "Patricia, I need my full kit. Maggie"
"Yeah" Maggie (I guess) replies
"Painkillers, coagulates, grab everything. Clean towels, sheets, alcohol. In here. Pillow case" Hershel ordered and dad put Jas down.
"Is she alive?" Dad asks
"Pillow case, quick." Hershel repeats.
"Is- is she alive?" Dad asked again. I didn't go into the room because I couldn't bare to look at her like that.
"Make a pad. Put pressure on the wound. I've got a heart beat-- it's faint."
"I've got it-- step back" Patricia said.
"Maggie, IV" Hershel ordered. "Your name?"
"R-Rick" dad answered.
"Rick?"
"I'm-I'm-I'm Rick"
"Rick, we're gonna do everything we can, okay? You need to give us some room. Now." Dad then left the room and came to were I was.
Dad immediately hugged me. He was taking this hard. He walked out side to see Shane and Otis. I stayed in the room. I was as close to Jasmine as I could be. I walked into the room with Dad and Shane. "You know her blood type?" Hershel asked.
"A positive." Shane said.
"Same as mine." Dad muttered.
"That's fortunate. Don't wonder far- I'm gonna need you" Hershel said
"Me too!" I interrupted.
"No, Carl." Dad told me.
I walked out of the house onto the field. I couldn't be in the room. I hated seeing her like that! I sat on the front step and started crying. I suddenly heard her crying. I ran inside to see her. Dad was giving blood while Shane was holding her down. She was screaming. I couldn't bare it. I closed my eyes and she stopped screaming. I looked at her. "She just passed out" Hershel said and I sighed.
"Daryl needs to be here." Dad said. "He doesn't even know what's going on. I got-I gotta go find him, bring him back."
"You can't do that" Hershel told him.
"He's her father! He needs to know what's happened! His daughters lying here, shot." Dad was muttering.
"And she's going to need more blood." Hershel reminded him I stopped listening.
I just held her hand. When Hershel left I gave her a quick kiss on the check. "Thank you" I whispered to her. "You saved me"
If she hadn't of pushed me, I would be lying there right now. When she pushed my at first I was really confused but now I understand. "JASMINE!" Daryl screamed from outside.
He ran into the room and started crying, Dad followed him in. "Daryl. I'm so sorry." I whispered.
"What happened?" He asked.
"There was a deer. It was so beautiful, anyway, we was walking towards it when she suddenly pushed me. I feel to the floor as I heard a gunshot. I turned to see her and she was shot." I started crying.
"Is the person dead?" He asked coldly.
"No he's going on a supply run to get stuff for an operation." I told him without even realising that I knew.
Daryl moved Jas' blonde hair out of her eyes."If she dies..." Daryl whispered.
"She won't!" I yelled at him, he looked up at me. "Sorry..."
"No, you're right. I'm sorry for giving up" Daryl interrupted.
Mom, Glenn and T-Dog walked into the room. "Hey" Glenn said announcing himself.
"Hey" I replied.
"We're here, okay?" Glenn told us.
Mum walked over to me and gave me a hug from behind. "Thank you" Daryl said.
"Whatever you need" T-Dog said.
Mom grabbed my hand and led me out of the room with Glenn, dad and T-Dog. I could feel the tear, still, spilling from my eyes.
