We were all sitting around the campfire. I sat next to Glenn with my head on his lap, Glenn was like a big brother to me. I loved him in a family way. He was always there for me, if I needed anything then I would ask him and he'd give it to me. Me and Glenn had private jokes, a close sibling kind of relationship. Even my dad trusts Glenn to care for me, Glenn is my guardian when Daddy isn't here.
The adults were talking about how the were going to tell daddy about Merle, no one asked me because they knew it was a touchy subject. I didn't realise how sleepy I was until I fell asleep in Glenn's lap. I woke up when he picked me up to take me to his tent. I can't sleep by myself so I stay with Glenn when daddy's busy and I stay with Lori if daddy and Glenn are busy.
They're fine with it because they know that daddy is busy doing stuff for the camp. Daddy goes hunting a lot. Always trying to supply us with food, he's so nice. When he comes back, he secretly gives me a little bit more than everyone else. I think that people know but they don't say anything because he is still giving them food and as long as daddy is happy, he'll go hunting.

The next morning, I walked up to Carl and Sophia.
"Hey, guys" I said looking at my feet.
"Hey Jas!" Carl replied happily.
"You won't wanna be here, we're playing!" Sophia replied, I didn't suspect anything less, I was rude to them yesterday.
"I know and I was wondering if I could play to?" I asked.
They looked at each other and nodded. I smiled at them. "Yeah!" Sophia said walking up to me. "It!"
She tapped me before running off. I looked at her weirdly. "What was that all about?" I asked
"We're playing it!" Carl said.
I was confused. "Haven't you played it before?" Sophia asked and I shook my head.
"You just touch a person and say 'it' and then they have to touch a person and say 'it' and it carries on. Do you get it?" Carl explained and I nodded.
I ran up to him and tapped his arm. "It!" I yelled before running off.
We played for a little bit until we came across a deer! It was dead, then we noticed that there was a walker. We all started screaming and running back to camp. All the adults came running past us. The men killed the walker before daddy came back. I ran to him and he picked me up.
"Hey, Jazzy!" He said, laughing.
I frowned. He knew that I hated it but I felt with it because he was the best dad ever. "Daddy! I missed you!" I replied.
"I missed you too! Now, where's your uncle Merle?" He asked as we got back to camp.
He started calling for Merle and no one replied until Rick came up to him. "Daryl, just slow down a bit, I need to talk to you." Rick told him.
Daddy turned around, put me down and pushed me to the side (like always). "About what?" Daddy asked
"About Merle. There was a... There was a problem in Atlanta." Shane told him.
"He dead?" Daddy asked.
"We're not sure" replied Rick.
I couldn't bare it so I ran to Glenn and he picked me up, hugging my. I covered my ear. I couldn't listen to this again. When daddy started swinging at Rick, I started crying.
"DADDY STOP!" I yelled, tears still flowing. He looked at me and calmed down. When daddy started walking away. Glenn put me down and I ran to daddy. "Please don't go again!"
"I have to get your uncle back!" Daddy told me.
"But I don't want to lose you too!" I begged
"You won't!" He tried to reassure me.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise!" He replied.
"Whose going to look after me?" I asked because Glenn was going out with daddy.
"Lori?" Daddy yelled.
"Yeah, Daryl?" Lori replied.
"Could you look after Jas?" He asked.
"Of course, she's a pleasure." Lori told daddy.
"Lori will look after you!" Daddy told me and I laughed.
Only daddy could make me laugh at such a bad time. I walked over to Rick. "Mr Rick" I said as I tapped him.
He turned around. "Yeah?" He replied
"Please look after my daddy! Oh! And Glenn! And T-Dog! Also please find my uncle. Daddy will be sad other wise!" I told him.
"I will, I'll bring them back in one piece." Rick told me.
"And alive?" I asked.
"And alive!" He added.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise!" Rick reassured me.
"If you break that promise, I get to kill you!" I told him.
"What?!" He yelled.
"I'm joking!" I said laughing.
"Okay." He got into his vehicle and they left.
I watched them leave and it hurt. I felt like daddy had picked Merle over me. "Hey there, Jas. Why don't you help the women washing?" Shane asked.
"What? I have to do that because I'm a woman?" I asked, jokingly. "OMG! You're a sexist pig!"
"Yeah? Well get to work!" He ordered.
