When I opened my eyes, I was in an unfamiliar room. It looked like I was in a prison cell. I tried to sit up but I was handcuff to the bed post.
"Hello?" I called out.
An unfamiliar boy came into the room. He had brown hair with matching eyes. He sat down on the edge of the bed and I tried to keep away from him.
"Jas." He whispered.
"Who are you?" I asked.
Dad walked in and I tried to get up again, forgetting that I was restrained.
"You're awake." He smiled, "It's so nice to see your eyes again."
"Who's that guy? How did I get here?" I started questioning, "Where are we? Why am I restrained?"
"That guy is George. You was with Carl..." Dad started.
"Carl? Where's Carl?" I needed to know if he was okay.
"Carl's downstairs. Do you want me to get him?" I nodded. "CARL! Come here! Also bring the keys."
Carl came running up the stairs and into the room. He passed my dad a key that my dad used to unlock the handcuffs. As soon as I was able to, I threw myself at Carl. I hugged him, never wanting to let go.
"Do you two want some time alone?" Dad asked.
"No! Finish answering the questions." I told him.
"So, you and Carl went to the infirmary to look for supplies. Hershel was hurt. On the way back, you were stacked by one of the prisoners. He shot and it scraped your head. Carl carried you back here but we don't know what happened to the guy. We're in a prison, in case you couldn't tell." Dad stopped for a second. "You were restrained because we didn't know if you were going to survive."
"What's the last thing you remember?" Carl whispered.
"We were on the highway. I thought that dad was dead but then I heard his voice. He was calling my name. I went to go to him then..." I told them.
"Then what?" Carl asked.
"It's fuzzy." I disappointed them.
"So you don't remember George or the incident?" Dad wondered.
I shook my head. Carl pulled away and walked out of the cell. I laid down and pulled my blanket closer to me.

I got up in the middle of the night. I could heard everyone snoring. My head was killing me and I couldn't sleep. I sat up and noticed that Carl was sitting on the floor, asleep. I creeped up to him and gently shook his shoulder. His eyes opened. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the bed. Luckily, he didn't object. He laid down, I wrapped my arms around him.
"I'm so sorry." Carl whispered.
"What for?" I asked.
"If you get your memory back, you'll understand." Carl told me.

The next day, I got up and started walking around the prison. I went outside and saw two men walking towards dad, Rick, T-Dog and Carol
"You're apart of the group?" I asked.
"I wish." The larger of the two muttered.
I followed them to until they stopped but I went and stood by dad.
"That's close enough." Rick spat, "We had an agreement."
"Please Mr. We know that." The smaller one said, "We made a deal but you got to understand..."
"Jas, why don't you start moving some of the walkers into a pile." Dad whispered and I got the hint.
I walked away and started dragging the lighter walkers into a pile in the far corner so that when burnt them, it would be at a distance from our home.
Another guy came walking down from the prison. He was walking straight to me. I felt like introducing myself but I knew that we already knew each other. Apparently we spent all winter together.
"Hi." I greeted when he came close enough to hear me.
"Jas, I'm George." He introduced.
"George. We met in a mall?" I asked, trying to remember everything dad told me.
"Yeah. I tried to take you hostage but you're too badass for me." He joked.
"We seem close. Are we?" I wondered.
"Yeah." He mutter, "Very close."
"Do you know what happened between me and Carl?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He questioned.
"Carl feels guilty for something he's done. What did he do?" I rephrased.
George walked away and I realised that it must of been bad. I followed him back. I didn't want to stay out here any longer. I stayed on the concrete part of the courtyard, watching everything happen. Hershel was walking with Lori in front of him and Beth behind him and Carl trailing. I stayed sitting on the bench.
"WALKERS!" Beth shouted.
I didn't have any weapons so I quickly ran inside. I kept running. Not knowing where to go. I don't remember being here so I quickly got lost. I went into a cell and closed it behind me. I was going to have to wait it out in here, until someone came looking. Why did I have to be all by myself. I should have waited to follow Lori or Maggie or even Carl. I heard someone whistling as they were walking. Probably to show that they're human.
"Hello?" I called out.
"Who's there?" A male voice asked.
"It's Jasmine." I told them, guessing that it was someone new who I didn't remember.
"Jasmine. Were you shot?" He questioned.
"Yeah." I answered, "How'd you know?"
"I'm sorry." He muttered.
I went flat against the wall just as a flashlight came into the room.
"Jasmine!" I heard dad yell.
"If you say a word, I'll kill you." His voice was in my ear.
I quickly elbowed him in the stomach and while he was winded I started running. I followed where dad's voice had came from. "Dad!" I screamed.
"Jasmine!" George yelled back.
"Hel..." I collided with a wall.
I couldn't see and I didn't remember this place. I had to be careful.
"JASMINE!" George yelled again.
"JAZZY!" Dad joined in.
"Jazzy, Jas." The man yelled back.
I felt a pipe on the floor so I quickly picked it up and hid around a corner. When I heard him getting closer I raised the pipe and was ready to hit him.
I had one chance and I took it. I quickly swing it and I hit him, square in the head. He fell to the ground but I carried on. I hit him again, again and again. I could feel blood splashing my face but I didn't stop. I didn't stop. He begged and begged but I didn't stop. A pair of arms wrapped themselves around me and held my arms down. In that moment, everything had came back to me.
"Get off me." I spat as I there the pipe on the floor.
