There was a car in the road but I knew that Rick, Maggie and Glenn could take care of it so I stayed where I was. I couldn't move, anyway. I was in shock that he'd left me. His daughter. Sometimes I wish that he'd never met my mum because at least then, I wouldn't of been born. I wouldn't have to go through this. Any of this. The pain. The running. The deaths. The abandonment.

When we got back, I got out of the car and walked into George's cell.
"You're hair..." He said as he looked up at me.
"It's safer. People can't grab my hair and pull at it..." I told him.
"Where you with Glenn and Maggie?" He asked.
"Yeah..." I muttered.
"I thought that you'd be with your dad..."
"DON'T! Don't even talk about him."
"Jas, what happened?" He pulled me into his arm.
"He left... left me. Went off with Merle..."
"Merle?"
"My uncle..."
I couldn't kept the tears in so he pulled me down into the bed. We were both sitting there, not saying a word. He was just holding me. Holding me close to him.
"I'm sorry for not telling you. I just thought that it'd be too much."
"I understand."
"I will never leave you..."
That was all that we said. We laid down together and he made sure that he kept me close to him. I hope he keeps his promise. Right now, all the promises are keeping me going. Keeping me alive.

I went back to the tower because after everything that happened at Woodbury, that's the only place I truly feel safe. Up there I could see everything and I was armed. I noticed that Rick was going over to the graves. I'm worried about him, especially after what I was told happened last night. Rick suddenly bolted to the gates, leaving the compound.

I picked up a snipers rifle and scooped out the area, making sure that no one was around. That no one could hurt us. But also, in case I saw dad. In case, he decided that I was worth more...

I heard someone coming up the stairs so I quickly turned and pointed at the entrance. The door flung open and George was there.
"It's only me!" He stated and I put the gun down.
"Sorry." I muttered before turning back around and keeping watch, "Update?"
"Glenn's in charge and Hershel wants to leave." He told me.
I heard him pick up and gun and his footsteps got louder. He stood next to me, watching Rick.
"He's been like that for ages." I told him, "Can you do me a favour?"
"Anything."
"Make sure that everyone is okay." I practically begged, "I also need someone to be a voice of reason and tell me everything that happens."
I turned to face him and he nodded before turning around. My eyes followed him and I watched him drop the gun onto the table before leaving.

I saw Glenn walking to a car and Hershel calling after him. I decided to leave them at it because if Hershel couldn't help him, no one could and that's a fact. As much as Glenn trusts me, he (and everyone else) still think of me as a child. A child who doesn't know what they're doing. Who doesn't know how to survive. But they're wrong. I've been surviving since before the apocalypse.

I watched Hershel start walking down and I was worried about him.
"You okay?" I asked, "Need any help?"
"I'm fine." He told me and I knew that he was too stubborn to let me help him.
I didn't pry. Everyone deserves their privacy. No one questions why I stay in the tower so I don't question what they're doing. Unless it affects me and everyone else.

BANG! It had disturbed the silence and filled the air. I lifted my gun and took aim, shooting at where I guessed it came from. Another person was in the tower next to me and started shooting. Most of them missed but one grazed my left arm. I fell to the floor and was thankful that I was right handed. I aimed at the person and shot them. Killing them. They fell over the railings and onto the floor. I crawled back inside the tower and went to my bag. I pulled out an old top and ripped off the bottom. I quickly wrapped it around my arm and hoped for the best. I looked down and saw the field full of walkers. I took aim and tried to shoot some of the walkers but my aim was off so I thought that it would be best to save bullets rather then waste them.
"JASMINE!" I heard Carl shout.
I pulled myself up and walked to the railing, "I'm fine!"
"I saw you get shot!" Carl told me.
"It only grazed me." I tried to reassure him.
"Come down," Carl begged, "it's safer down here."
I walked back inside and hoped that they got the message that I wasn't moving from my spot.

Dad and Merle came back but they didn't try to talk to me. I was very hostile towards them. I may or may not of shot at them. And by at them I mean the ground near their feet.

"Jasmine!" Carl shouted.
I looked at him and he pointed at a walker that was on a lead, making it's way here. I pointed my gun up at it and was ready to shot at a moments notice. My finger was itching around the trigger. There was a blonde on the other side of the lead and I recognise the blonde. It was Andrea. That bitch. What was she doing here? Especially after what her boyfriend did. Michone told me how she knew Andrea and what she did at the Woodbury. I don't know how she had the nerve to come here. I looked down and everyone else was here. Rick looked up at me, I stared back, waiting for a signal but he just shook his head.

I didn't go to Andrea's welcome home party because I didn't trust her. I wanted to make sure that she wasn't a diversion while her boyfriend made another move.
