I started getting more and more suspicious of how Randal could of attacked Shane but there was nothing that I could do. I never liked Shane, something isn't right with him. He had attacked me and Rick for no reason. He can't be trusted.

Glenn came running up to me, with my dad following closely.

"Be careful, something's going on." Glenn whispered into my ear, "We found Randal in the woods."

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He was a walker." Glenn told me.

That was it. I knew that it was him. It had to be. And I had to tell them. "Rick's in danger then..." was all that I could manage to let out.

"What do you mean?" Dad asked as he walked over to me.

"Shane attacked him when we tried to let Randal go, that's why I got hurt." I finally told them, "I had tried to stop the fighting."

"If Rick doesn't kill that son of a bitch then I will." Dad threatened.

I was in the house with Lori, Carl, Andrea, Carol, Maggie, Beth, Hershel, T-Dog and Patricia. Glenn and dad when to go find Shane and Rick. I was talking to Lori, she was so nice, when we heard the gunshot. I jumped up, got my gun out and started running out of the house. I couldn't see where the gunshot had came from so I started walking around with Maggie behind me.

"Jas! You should get back!" Maggie shouted.

"I need to know that my dad and Glenn are okay." I told her.

"Jazzy!" I heard dad shout from across the field.

Glenn came running over but it looked more like he was running away from something.

"What's wrong?" me and Maggie yelled in sync.

"That shot was heard by more then just us." Glenn told us.

"There is a herd of walkers, they're making their way over here! NOW!" Dad told us. "Get your guns!"

I lifted my gun up, turned the safety off and pointed it up at the edge of the woods. When I saw the first walker I quickly shot it down. I turned to look at the house quickly and noticed that people have started to come out of the house. But they still didn't know what was going on. More walkers were coming out of the woods and I carried on shooting them down until I heard the familiar click that told me that my gun was empty.

I felt a set of arms pick me up. It was Glenn. Glenn threw me into the back of a car before getting into the passenger seat while Maggie got into the drivers seat.

"There's a bag with amo and guns in it. Can you load them for me?" Glenn asked.

I nodded and started the job, "Okay."

I quickly loaded the guns, before passing them to Glenn when his current gun was empty. I then took that gun and reloaded it. I realized that I could also shot at the walkers so I rolled down my window and started shooting at nearby walkers.

"I'm out." I yelled.

"Same." Glenn replied, "We have to go."

We started driving down a dirt road when Maggie had a mini breakdown and Glenn took over as driver. We thought that it was probably best to go to the highway as there were supplies for Sophia that we could use if someone else hadn't taken them.

As we got to the highway, I could tell that someone else was there. As we slowly came to a holt, I grabbed a knife from the bag and held it close to me. I also lifted up my gun, even though it was empty because they didn't know that. Hopefully, it was our group. When we stopped, I was the first out of the car.

"Who's there?" I called out.

"Jasmine!" Rick yelled, walking over, "Who else did you see get out?"

"I didn't see" then it hit me. I hadn't seen my dad leave. I knew that recently he had spoken to Glenn about looking after me if something did happen so that I wasn't alone but no matter what happened, I would be alone. I already was, "anyone get out. Just us, me, Glenn and Maggie. Sorry. Who's with you?"

"Carl and Hershel." Rick told me, "You know that if anything happens to your dad..."

"Nothing's happened to him. At least not yet. We can't give up hope yet." I snapped.

Rick just nodded before Carl came over and pulled me into a tight hug. We didn't say anything to each other. We didn't need to. He knew exactly what was going through my mind without a single word. Tears started falling at the thought that my dad was gone. I could feel his hand rubbing my back, trying to sooth me.

"Jasmine!" I heard my dad call.

I quickly rubbed the tears out of my eyes, "Dad!" I yelled as I started running towards his voice.

I saw dad and he quickly pulled me into a hug, holding me close to him. I was so happy that nothing had happened to him. I couldn't lose Merle then Sophia then dad. I wouldn't be able to survive. I know that someone else was going to die at some point but I know that I wouldn't be able to survive if they did.

I knew that I was crying again and as dad pulled away, I could tell that he was going to ask me why I'm crying.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I thought that something had happened to you," I explain barely audible, "and I don't know what I would do if something HAD happened. The worse thing is, I know that something is going to happen to someone. And there is NOTHING that I can do to stop it."

"Jasmine Dixon. Look at me." Dad told me and I looked at him, "Nothing is going to happen. Not under my watch so don't worry about anything. I'm going to make sure that nothing happens to me, you or anyone else that we love."

I put on a fake smile and pretended to not care about it anymore but I couldn't stop thinking about it. Who would be the next person that I love to be taken from us.

We were driving east until Rick's SUV came to stop. I was on the back of dad's motorcycle. To keep my hair out of my face, I tied my hair up into a high ponytail but my hair was still going mad in the wind. I love it. As we couldn't go anywhere else, we had to set up camp until we could go and get someone more gas from around.
