wren:

you were in volunteering at Radley whilst wren was working there. you had just finished your shift and you were collecting your things when another volunteer started talking to you.

"hey, I'm Joe." he said, whilst throwing his bag over his shoulder.

"y/n. its nice to meet you." you said, smiling at him.

"pretty name for an even prettier girl." he stated, smirking at you. you didn't want to be rude so you kept walking with him, but quickened your pace in order to get out and meet wren at his car.

"how about we grab something to eat?" he suggested. you politely declined, hoping he would get the message. sadly he didn't. "come on just a bite to eat, or a drink?" he said turning you around to face him, making you uncomfortable.

"she doesn't want to." wren said from behind you.

"and who are you?" Joe said, annoyed at his presence.

"her boyfriend" wren replied, holding your hand and pulling you over to his car.

"if he ever flirts with you again tell me." he said, kissing you on the forehead.

"I will" you replied, thanking wren for coming to your rescue.

"anytime princess." you both got in the car and drove away, pleased that wren took care of the situation but anxious for the next time you see Joe.

mike:

you were stood outside school waiting for Aria to finish a club so that you could get a ride home. you plugged your headphones in as you stood, clutching your bag. you knew she  would pull up any minute so you stood, scanning the road. you could feel someone watching you so you turned around. you didn't recognise the boy in front of you so you muttered a 'hi' when he stood next to you.

"Were you waiting for me baby?" he said, your eyes widened in shock at how forward this boy was being.

"no I'm waiting for my friend." you replied calmly.

"are you sure you wouldn't rather go home with me." he smirked arrogantly.

"no, I'm 100% sure I don't want to go home with you." you were starting to get annoyed with him.#

"don't be like that" he whined. "you're dating that Montgomery kid right?"

"yes I am." you answered, clenching your jaw to stop yourself from saying something rude.

"he's pathetic, you need a real man like me." you laughed.

"mike isn't pathetic, in fact you're the most pathetic boy I've ever seen. I feel sorry for the girl who ends up with you." you went to walk away but he grabbed your wrist holding onto it tightly.

"you wont be saying that at the end of he night." you could feel his nails digging into your skin, so you did the only thing you could think of. you slapped him. hard.

he stumbled back releasing your wrist and you turned to see Aria parked on the curb, mike sat in the back waiting for you. you walked over at opened the back car door.

"you're going to regret that y/n!" he shouted. you rolled your eyes, knowing he wasn't going to do anything. you sat down next  to mike and gave him a shy smile.

"that was awesome!" he beamed at you. "the jerk was still clutching his cheek when we left!"

"well he started saying mean things, so I taught him a lesson."

"at least I know you can defend yourself." mike said proudly, wrapping his arm around your shoulders.

noel:

you were going on a date with noel and you had made a huge effort to look your best. however every few minutes your phone went off. someone had given this idiot your number and he wouldn't stop texting you. you reached for your phone to read the incoming message.

-I think we should get to know each other better.

you ignored it like you did the rest. noel came around 10 minutes later, taking you out to eat. you sat down at the table, ordered your food then started chatting. not long later your phone vibrated. you looked down, annoyed and took no notice of it.

"are you alright y/n?" he asked, concerned. you nodded, returning to the conversation. just as your food arrived, it buzzed again. this time you didn't even look down.

"ok. what's going on?" noel asked, as he observed you. he could tell something wasn't right. you considered keeping it from him, but then decided there wasn't any point lying so you reached into your pocket and held your phone out to him. he took it and unlocked it, reading the messages you had been receiving constantly for the last hour. his eyebrows furrowed as he scanned through them. he started typing a reply into your phone.

"what are you doing?" you questioned, trying to see what he was messaging back. he switched off your phone and handed it back.

"he wont bother you again." he stated. you thanked him and returned to your date. he was right, the guy never bothered you again. you never got another text, so you deleted all the past messages and forgot all about him.

Jason:

you were at the café with a friend you hadn't seen in a long time.  he had come to spend the weekend with you. he often flirted with you, but you knew it wasn't serious because he wasn't interested in girls. you couldn't stop laughing. your cheeks were hurting from smiling so much and your eyes had been watering. when you had calmed down slightly you heard a bell, indicating a door had been opened.

"well gorgeous, we should go see a movie." your friend, ben, joked. you agreed, then felt a tap on your shoulder. you swivelled round, faced with a very angry Jason. he stared at ben, making him shift uncomfortably.

"Jason. hi. this is my friend ben. ben this Is my boyfriend Jason." you introduced the two.

"are you sure I'm your boyfriend?" Jason asked, crossing his arms. you couldn't believe his was asking you this, then it clicked. he heard ben flirting and thought the two of you were being serious. you sighed, stood up and pulled him over to the counter, excusing yourself from your conversation with ben.

"Jason. ben's gay." you stated. he looked over to ben, a sorry look in his eyes. he held your hand then walked back over.

"hi, ben. sorry. I just thought you were flirting with y/n and...." ben held up a hand, silencing Jason.

"its ok, I don't blame you." he smiled. you said goodbye to Jason, agreeing to meet later and continued your afternoon with ben.
