you
I don't recognize you
maybe the mirror is foggy
obstructing my viewmy view of you
someone I once knew
but what have you done?
I know I've been gonebut
somehow you grew
into something, someone
new
but I'm confusedI once didn't value
the beauty you offer
but now I see it's true--
I see youand now, what can I do?
as I stand opposite
from your point of view
the glass you see throughI can no longer continue
for I see you outgrew
this wasteland I made for younow you live in virtue
this space can't hold us two
and now my seconds are fewso I guess I will bid you adieu
my past self having a hard time recognizing my present self through a glass
