"So, you guys think that my ability can, not only take, but give another person physical strength?" I asked, making sure I was on the same page as the two before me.

My father nodded his head, pushing his glasses up. "Though it's just a theory, it's best to figure it out before Mori decides to make a move."

The doctor beside my father, cleared his throat before speaking up. "To put it simply, oftentimes we will find that some abilities have a second part- a power up- if you will."

I nodded my head. "And you think I am able to do something like this?"

"With the way your ability works, it's as if invisible tendrils come out of your body, making contact with others to zap their energy, correct?"

"Yeah." I agreed. "It's like if I had sets of hands that were invisible to any other person, but to me, it's like seeing an apparition. You can tell something is there, but can't see it."

The doctor let out a hum. "As you are aware, we would like to run some tests and experiments to see if anything has changed since the awakening of your ability years ago."

And just like before, all those years ago, I was doing the same things. Blood tests, mental exams, endurance tests, pushing myself to near collapse, all to see what may or may not have changed.

After a good two hours of the testing, I was in a room, waiting for the doctor and my father to come back with the results.

It wasn't too long before they did come back, the doctor looking down at the clipboard in his hands. "Everything looks well, health wise, but I do think it is possible for you to give others the strength you gain."

I raised an eyebrow. "You do?"

"Yes. Based on your explanation of these tendrils you have and the fact you can steal one's strength by touching them with the tendrils, you should be able to do the opposite." My father spoke up, to which the doctor nodded.

"I think it would benefit you to practice making your body familiar with the motion of giving strength." The doctor spoke up. "Your job as a detective for the ADA could greatly increase the success rate of missions."

"Okay, but how do I go about doing that?" I tilted my head, unsure.

The doctor pondered for a moment. "When you use your ability and snatch the strength, try channeling your energy and imagine giving someone that energy."

I nodded my head, processing how to go about that. "I'll do that then."

"But be careful." My father spoke up, glancing at me. "If you lose control and take too much, you could-"

"I know." I cut him off, already knowing what he was going to say. I glanced down towards my feet, deep in thought. "If I go too far, I could kill someone." I finalized, glancing back up at my father.

The two of us had a silent conversation, knowing the two of us were thinking about the revelation of how my mother died years ago. How my ability was what killed her.

I stood up, making my way to the door. "If that's all, then I really should be going. I have no doubt the Agency is busy with new cases."

"Oh- before you do- I do have one concern that needs to be brought up." The doctor spoke up, causing my father and I to look at him in question.
