Uninvited Guest

I let out a sigh, closing my door behind me, walking over to the kitchen. I glanced around the empty space as I placed my house keys onto the kitchen counter. Man... I forgot how quiet it was. I thought to myself as I ran my finger along the top of the counter. I brought my fingers up to glance at them, seeing the dust that had collected on the tips of them. How long has it been?

With everything that has been going on, I had failed to realize exactly how long it's been since I last entered my apartment. Shaking my head from the thoughts, I made my way throughout my apartment, grabbing cleaning supplies from a closet before returning back to the living room.

The sound of my front door opening caused me to stop in my tracks. Without thinking, I dropped the duster in one of my hands, raising the other up as I waited to see who was behind the door.

I heard a surprised gasp leave my mouth as my eyes widened in shock. "W-What the-?"

I watched as they raised an eyebrow, glancing at my raised hand. "And just exactly what were you planning to do with that?" I tore my gaze away, bringing them down to the bottle of cleaning solution that rested in said hand, aiming in front of me.

"What is it with people and just barging into my apartment as they please..." I sighed out annoyed.

"I take it this isn't the first time?" I heard the slight amusement coming from their voice.

...

I was humming to myself as I sprayed the counter down, wiping it clean of the remnants of dust, mumbling the lyrics that reverberated through my phone. I finally had a day off, giving me the opportunity to clean my apartment that was very much needed.

As I crouched down to grab another clean rag I had brought out, I heard my door slam open behind me. "Goodmorning, (Y/N)!"

"AHHH!" I screamed out in surprise, whipping around and spraying the intruder in the face with the bottle of cleaning solution that resided in my hands.

I heard a groan of pain before coughing, as I brought my hand away. "HA! Take that you- Dazai?" I cut myself off as I watched said man hunch over as he coughed.

After collecting himself, Dazai straightened back up, rubbing at one of his eyes. "Is that any way of greeting your bodyguard?"

I let out a sigh, handing him the clean rag I was grabbing before he barged in. "That wouldn't have happened if you didn't barge into my house like a lunatic." I lectured him, setting the bottle down on the counter before looking back at the brunette, crossing my arms. "What are you doing here anyway?"

After Dazai finished wiping the solution from his face and eyes, which were slightly red, he set the rag down on the counter, looking at me. "I'm bored." He stated simply.

I raised an eyebrow at his simpleness. "Bored?" I confirmed, earning a hum as a response. "Why didn't you just call instead of barging in?"

"I tried but you didn't answer." Dazai shrugged.

"You know, usually that means that someone is busy." I pointed out before I realized something. "Wait- How'd you get into my apartment? The door was locked."

Dazai smirked. "I have my ways. So, what are we going to do?"

"We?" I questioned him in amusement.

"I told you I was bored." Dazai stated, staring me down. "So, entertain me."

I smirked. "Okay then." I picked the duster back up off of the floor, grabbing one of his hands and placing the duster in it. "You're gonna help me clean."

"What?" Dazai glanced from me to the duster in his hand, clearly not amused.

I let out a chuckle as I grabbed the bottle once more, going back into the kitchen. "You said you were bored." I shrugged.

I heard footsteps as Dazai sat at the kitchen counter. "This is not my idea of fun."

I turned back to the man, placing a hand on my hip as he rested his chin in his hand, closing his eyes. I stared at the brunette in front of me, lost in thought. There's no denying that I have grown a soft spot for the suicidal maniac as I admired his features. How his chestnut hair fell perfectly around his face, sharp features, long lashes, you name it.

It amazes me how someone can look so innocent and almost god-like, yet could be so dangerous. A man that is admired by many, yet is feared by so many more. A wolf in sheep's clothing. I felt myself smile.

Dazai opened his eyes, finding my gaze before raising an eyebrow in question. Realizing I just got caught staring, I let out a cough, tearing my gaze away as I felt my face flush. "Fine you win, Dazai. So, what do you want to do?"

I heard Dazai chuckle. 'God, why is he so attractive...' I mentally cursed the mummy for how little effort he has to use. "I have an idea."

Intrigued, I returned my gaze to Dazai, tilting my head. "What's that? And don't even think about mentioning a double suicide." Dazai stood up from the chair, coming to stand in front of me, stuffing his hands in his coat pockets. I tilted my head up, awaiting his reply. "Well, Dazai? Don't leave a girl in suspense."

"I thought I told you to call me Osamu?"

...

"You can say that." I didn't budge from my spot, glaring ahead of me. "To what do I owe the pleasure of you showing up at my doorstep?"

I watched as the dark haired man let out a chuckle, his violet eyes putting me on edge by their coldness. "Now, (Y/N), is that any way to treat a guest?"

I let out a hum, bringing my other hand up to tap my finger on my chin, pretending to think it over. "Yeah, you're right. But you are not a guest, so I guess that doesn't matter." I narrowed my eyes once more, awaiting an answer. "Now, I'll ask again. Why is the leader of the Port Mafia standing at my doorstep?"

Mori's smirk widened as he brought a hand up in surrender. "Now, now, I'm simply here on business and nothing more."

"Business?" I questioned out in confusion, raising an eyebrow. "What business?"

"I'd like to discuss a proposition with you, (Y/N) (L/N)."
