Secret Hideout

Chapter 23

Two days went by yet again and it is now Wednesday afternoon. Alvin and Brittany are sitting outside the Treehouse at the table chatting about the Secret Hideout. Brittany smiles "Are you glad that you are finally finished building the Second Entrance to the Hideout?" Alvin grins "Of course! Now we don't have to worry about our siblings knowing where it is. Especially since they have an idea of where it could be." She nods "True." Then she gasps excitedly "Oh! Since that's finished, could we design our siblings' rooms? I figured since one day we'll tell them about the Hideout. I just want to surprise them with a bedroom that they always wanted!" Alvin chuckles, making Brittany blush. She whines "Baaaabe!" He grins teasingly "What?" "STOP LAUGHING!" "Why? Your excitement is adorable babe." He laughs "How could I not laugh?" Then he smiles amused while she pouts. "You know, your idea sounds like a good idea. We're just going to have to figure out what they would like in their own room." She thinks "Hmm... We could ask them hypothetically if they could have their own bedroom, how would they design it? We could write it down in secret and go from there." He nods "Then that's what we'll do." Brittany smiles which makes Alvin smile. She takes his hand and strokes it softly then looks into his eyes and says lovingly. "I love you." His smile grows bigger. "I love you too Britt." Then they both lean forwards as their lips meet for a sweet yet passionate kiss.

They both sigh enjoying the moment but unfortunately it got interrupted. "WHOA!!" They broke apart startled then turned towards where the noise came from. Alvin smirked when seeing his brothers and Brittany's sisters walking up the stairs towards them with surprised expressions. He chuckled while Brittany giggled softly. Then she smiles "Hey guys." Their siblings now look at them with bewildered looks which now makes the couple laugh. Alvin teases "What's wrong? Never seen a couple kiss before?" They roll their eyes giving him an unamused look. "Very funny Alvin." Simon remarked sarcastically. Alvin chuckles while Theodore asks "What are you guys up to?" Brittany smiles, "We were just talking and enjoying each other's company." "Could we join?" Alvin replies "Sure." They sit down in the remaining chairs next to them. Simon turns to them "So what were you talking about?" Alvin grins "About the Secret Hideout mostly." Then he shrugs, "We're trying to figure out some designs for some new rooms." Brittany nods "Yeah, there are rooms that Alvin and I have been trying to design." Eleanor's eyes went wide "H-how many rooms are there?" Alvin and Brittany glance at each other then back to them "A lot." Their siblings' mouths drop slightly in shock.

Alvin snorts "Have you ever thought of designing a room for yourself before? Like a bedroom or something?" He turns to his girlfriend, giving her a look which makes her eyes light up catching on. Brittany nods while Alvin turns on the voice memos on his Apple Watch "Yeah! Like Alvin and I decorated our bedrooms in the Hideout the way we always wanted since we can't in our current bedroom." Eleanor nods "Of course! I'm sure we all have." She turns to the others "Right guys?" They nod in agreement. "Yeah, it would be nice to have my own room but we can't as we don't have enough room for that." Simon said. Alvin snorts "We technically do but Dave wouldn't allow it. Remember that time I "Moved" out of our room to the basement? I could have moved into one of our guest bedrooms but didn't for some odd reason." Theodore blinked "Oh yeah... I remember that. It is odd that you didn't move into one of the guest bedrooms." Simon snorts "None of us were really thinking those days Theo. Dave was just trying to make us stop fighting, so he let Alvin move to the basement to have us learn our lesson about the whole thing." Then he turns to the Chipettes "Though, you girls did have an impact on the situation as well." They nodded remembering that. Then Jeanette smiles "It would be nice to have a room of my own to design and have as my own." Eleanor nods in agreement "Yeah, I mean what's the harm in brainstorming hypothetically? It could be fun."

Theodore grins "Yeah! And Alvin and Brittany could tell us how they designed their rooms too. Who knows maybe they could add if they wanted to." Everyone happily agrees. So Alvin and Brittany tell them how they designed their bedrooms while their siblings hypothetically brainstorm what their ideal bedroom would look like. Alvin and Brittany grin at each other 'With this information, we could start the process of designing our siblings' bedrooms!' 'Yep! This worked out perfectly. I'm so glad this worked out the way it did.' Brittany nodded at him happily.
