Narrator POV

The Next Day

In The Leaf Village

"BORUTO, COME BACK HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT. I'M GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASS." Was heard throughout the village. 

The villagers shook their heads again. 'Boruto and Imani are at it again.' They thought. 

Boruto, a twelve-year-old boy, currently running away from Imani. Boruto is Naruto's son. And just like his father, Boruto loves pranking people. And today of all people happened to be Imani. Prince Akio's and Sakura's twelve-year-old daughter. 

Anyhow, Boruto continued to run and jumped around, trying to hide away from Imani. "Try to catch me if you can." He turned his head, looking back, sticking his tongue out. But since he wasn't looking, Boruto bumped into someone. Because he's an idiot like his father, Boruto lost his balance and fell on the ground. Which made him quite upset.

 "Hey what's the big idea? Couldn't you see me running here?" He said not looking up. The person didn't say anything but let go a small amount of KI.

 Boruto, shivering down to his spine, looks up to see Kia. "Hhhey Kiaa." Boruto said nervously. 

Kia didn't say anything but pick up the back of his shirt and help him up. 

Due to the closeness, his face darkens. Even though he was a bit afraid, he blushed because of how beautiful Kia is. 

Kia Alex-Hatake, Princess Ayumu and Kakashi's sixteen-year-old daughter. She is such a beauty. Bright green eyes she inherited from her mother, as well as her thick straight but short hair. But instead of it being dark brown like her mother, she inherited her father's sliver hair. Her skin complexion is a perfect mix of her parents, light brown skin. The younger generation calls her, 'The Goddess', because of her unique beauty.

 Not a second later, a sweaty Imani came into view "Tthank yyou, Kia." Imani said, breathing heavily.

 Kia just stared at the two and look down at her watch. Shaking her head, she summons, Pakkun. "Hey kid, what do you need?" The dog asked. She quickly signed to him, and he completely understood. 

Pakkun turns around and faced Imani and Boruto. "Kia said you guys are late for class and for your punishment, you must try to run away from us without getting bit." 

Before the two could register, Pakkun and his few dog companions puff right beside him. 

"Run." One of the larger dogs said. 

It wasn't long till the duo bolted straight to the academy. Kia smiled to herself. "I'm proud. My little girl is growing up." Kia knew her father was right behind her and watched the whole thing. 

She couldn't help but rolled her eyes. She turned around and gave her father a look. "What? I was just saying." Kia couldn't help but giggle.

 She walked closer to her dad and Kakashi gave his daughter a quick hug and kiss on her forehead. 

"I came to collect you. Your Godfather wants to see you in his office." 

Kia beamed at the mention of her Godfather. Her Godfather is Naruto. Boruto's father. The two have a special connection.

 Kakashi and Kia went towards the Hokage Tower.

Time Skip

Jonins were present in the Hokage's office.

 Today they will be given a team to manage, lead and help train.

 Kia knew why the Jonins were present, but she didn't know exactly why she was there. She shifted her eyes to look at her father and she could see a smirk hiding under his mask. Kia hopes it's not what she thinks. She slightly sent a glare at her father. 

However, the some of Jonins standing in the room she recognized is Konohamaru, whose grandfather was the Third Hokage, Moegi, Lee, and Jugo, who still works with the Uchiha Police force but now, part time.

 Naruto, the Seventh Hokage, looks at the group in front of him. Seeing more familiar faces put a smile on his face. 

"Thank you all for dedicating your time of becoming a Jonin Sensei. You all will have three Genins and it's our duty to train, lead and help them develop of becoming the best they can be. It will be tough and challenging but it will be rewarding. Furthermore, I will now call and assign your team number and students. Team Seven will be led by Konohamaru. Your students will be Sarada Uchiha, Boruto Uzumaki and Mitsuki; Team Eight will be led by Jugo. Your students will be Wasabi, Sumire and Namida; Team Nine will be led by Lee. Your students will be Denki, Metal, and Iwabee; and finally, Team Ten will be led by Moegi. Your students will be Chocho, Inojin, and Shikadai. Because we had an uneven number of students this year, Team Nine will have an extra student. Imani will be joining the team as well. And lastly, Kai will be joining Team Seven has the second captain. And to inform the both of you, Sadara is currently in Abioye. Family emergency. She will be back soon. Nonetheless, Konohamaru and Kia stay behind, everyone else, dismiss." Hokage inform everyone.

 Everyone else left except for the two that was called and Kakashi. Kia didn't seem so happy with the idea.

 She stared at her father and then at her Godfather before signing. 'I don't want to be a Jonin Sensei. I thought I made it clear to you both that I don't want to be a ninja anymore.' 

Naruto and Kakashi both sigh. They understand completely. Naruto gave her a sad look. He got up from his chair and walked closer to Kia and his former sensei.

 "Look Kia. You have so much potential, and we don't want you to waste it away. Being a sensei will be good for you." Kia shook her head and took a step back. Her eyes flicked to Konohamaru, back to Naruto and to her father. 'No.' She signed. 'I'm not ready to be a sensei and nor am I capable of teaching them anything. I already mentioned to you all that I don't want to be ninja. Why are you not respecting my decision?' Continued to sign. 

Kakashi place his hand on her shoulder, trying to ease her a bit. "Kia, you can't hide forever. What happened in the past, happened. It's been years and you got to stop hiding from it." Kakashi said. 

But sadly, for Kia, she doesn't remember anything and doesn't know why she couldn't speak. Memories of her waking up in the hospital all confuse and with her teammates by her side started playing in the back of her mind. Hot tears slowly escape her eyes. 

"Kia, I'm ordering you to go out there and be a sensei. Those kids look up to you and they have so much to learn from you. This is also for you own good." Naruto said to her. 'I hate you.' She signs one last time before rushing out of the Hokage office with hot tears.

 Naruto turned to face his old teacher. "Sorry Kakashi, guess I was a bit harsh on her." He apologized. 

Kakashi shook his head. "No no. We need to push her. I was in the same state as she was. If it wasn't for Lord Third and your father, I wouldn't be where I am today. I don't want Kia to drown in darkness. For one, she has her mother and my blood. It won't be long till she snaps. But no worries, she respects you too much. Just give her a couple of days." Kakashi said with an eye-smile. 

Naruto nodded his head in understanding and turned his head to face Konohamaru. "Sorry Kono. We'll give Kia some space a couple of days. But for now, why don't you go to your team. I'm pretty sure we kept them waiting long enough." Naruto said. Konohamaru nodded his head before leaving.

 Naruto went back to sit down. "I'm getting old for this stuff." He spoke. Kakashi deadpanned. "Naruto, you're only thirty-four years old. Shut up."
