One Year Later

Things have gone back to normal. Well, somewhat. Sumire Cadet is currently and continuing to serve her sentence. Her life in prison is not glamorous. Her inmates voids her like the plague for they knew, Sumire tried to kill their Queen. They also knew that Sumire is the Queen's Godmother, and they also knew, she got a light sentence. If it was anyone else, they would have been six feet under. Despite of how polite and nice Sumire is, the guards, staff and the inmates doesn't give Sumire time of day. So, for the most part, Sumire doesn't have any friends and extremely lonely. And the fact her husband divorced her, a year ago, she couldn't help but yearn for him. She didn't have many visitors. 

Sakura lives in the leaf with her husband and their children. And they both work full time. The year she's been lock up; Sakura only got to see her once. For Sako, since he lives closer, he also visited her a few times but with a time limit. With only four years left in his internship and now, training to fully take over as Head of the Cadet Clan, her son barley had time to visit her. And despite she had done, her Goddaughter still visit her. Every time Sumire sees her, her heart aches and guilt comes to settle in. Only if she could go back in time and make everything right, she would.

One would thought Hermie would feel better divorcing his wife after learning her betrayal and learning what great lengths she would do the keep her secret hidden. Hermie indeed went to the Leaf to stay with his only daughter and her family to keep his mind occupied. However, he stayed about two months. How much he hated the fact his ex-wife lied to him, he couldn't hate her forever. She was the only reason why he's even a father and grandfather. He will give her credit.

 However, Hermie is back in the land of Abioye to fully train his son, who will become the next Head of the Cadet Clan. It was discussed that once Sako is finished with his internship, he will be given the title of Head. Hermie and the elders of the Clan decided it was best because they did wanted Sako succeed in his studies before taking over more leadership roles.

Sako is still upset about the aftermath of his mother. When his colleagues, co-workers and some buddies he hangs out time to time, heard about it, they were a bit skeptical of him. Which obviously made him uncomfortable. With encouragement from his family, clan and friends, Sako continued to do what he loved best, taking care and helping people. And what made his experience even better was, his estranged elder sister, Saki was ordered to attended therapies at his workplace. Sako wasn't allowed to do the sessions with her due to conflict of interest, however, Sako would show up to work early whenever he knows her scheduled dates and spend time with her.
