Narrator POV

After the super long meeting, Queen Akari made her husband check on the welfare of their children. As much she wanted to see them, she had work to do. 

She walks to the infirmary.

 Micah is still asleep and Dachi just watching Micha's sleeping form. Dachi didn't realize the Queen presence. 

"He's beautiful, isn't he." Queen Akari said. Dachi remain quite but nodding his head, in agreement. 

The Queen smiles to herself. She walks over to them and went to check on Micah first. Making sure he's fully asleep. 

"He's going to be asleep for a while. The Sharingan did took a toll on his body." The Queen started. Dachi didn't say anything but watch her work.

 Queen Akari walks over to him and place her hand on his chest. Dachi couldn't help but flinch slightly. 

She notices but didn't say anything. She checks to make sure everything else was okay. 

"How are you feeling?" The Queen asks.

 Dachi knows exactly what she was asking about and Dachi couldn't help but doesn't know how to feel. But it didn't stop his mouth from opening. 

"I've numbed my heart for years since I was a young boy. Probably younger than this boy. I have never care for anyone's wellbeing but other than mine and Madara. I have use and abuse people for my own gain. I never thought I would ever be broken. Having my powers remove, I became weak; having my voice taken from me, I became mute; having no say in my life anymore; I'm no longer human. I thought I already hit the bottom of the barrel but seeing the young woman, that was said to be my daughter, I couldn't help but be sad and then angry for her. Angry at me. Seeing her face, I could see how afraid she was of Apollo. I wonder for a brief moment, if Sumire was honest with me, told me she was pregnant with my child, would life have been different? Would I have been a different person? But nonetheless, all of this is my fault. I cause the girl pain. I cause this boy pain. Death sounds more like paradise now. Living now and knowing, all I did in my life have cause thousands of other pains and suffering and now a daughter and a grandson I didn't know, also pain, then, I deserve to live in guilt." Dachi spoke. 

The Queen was too stunned to speak. She never thought Dachi could feel any human emotions. She didn't know what to say to that. But she couldn't help but use her calming aura. 

She took his arm and insert a needle. "Sorry for this intrusion, but I need your blood. We must make sure; Saki is really your daughter." She said and once she was finish, she went back over to Micah and did the same.

 Dachi didn't say anything. 

Once Queen Akari was done, she gathered more supplies to do the same with the others in the jail cell. But before she left, she faces her uncle. 

She couldn't help but notice how old he looks.

 "I'm happy that you can feel those emotions. It makes you more human than you realize. Growing up back in the Land of Fire, I was surrounded myself with friends who believe in second chances and redemptions. You are not the only one, who have cause destruction. There are others who are serving time but won't be facing the death penalty. Since I was the one who gave you your sentence, I may be able to appeal it. You still must serve but that will give you plenty of time to catch up with Saki once we prove she's indeed your daughter. And the same with your grandson. And depending on her charge, we'll see what happened." The Queen said.

 Dachi turns and face her. His face gave his niece the answer. She couldn't help but smile. 

"Have a great night." She said before stepping out, not giving Dachi a chance to respond.

Time Skip

Queen Akari already got blood samples from Apollo and Sumire. Sumire tries to talk to her, but Queen Akari didn't give her any time of day.

 Now, she's currently getting a blood sample from Saki. Who looks tired. "I'm sorry." Saki whispered softly. 

Queen Akari looks at her. "I know, what I've done can't change of what happen, but I'm truly sorry. I'm happy that, that man is finally caught, and my baby boy is safe. And please promise me, he will be safe. I don't care if my sentence is death. For I've been dead since the minute I've came out of that stupid test tube. I've face death all my life and that all I know. But my baby boy doesn't. I want him to have a great life and grow up with friends and hopefully, a real family."

 Saki said with tears running down her face. Queen Akari stares at Saki and couldn't help but hug her. 

Saki was taken by surprise and hug Queen Akari back. More tears spill out of her eyes. "Sorries' can't take away all the years of pain and trauma. You suffer at the hand of the man, who supposed to be like a father figure, only for him to hurt you. He used you, abuse you and made your life like a living hell. I can't grasp the idea and the feeling of not being wanted and not being properly love and cared for, but I promise you this, you will get justice. Yes, the fact that you played a part, but it wasn't your own doing. But don't worry, everything will be cleared soon."

 The Queen whispered and hug Saki once again.

 Tears ran down her check, as The Queen gets up and walks out of her cell. 

Leaving her alone.

 Saki slowly lays down on the black covers of the bed, and for the first time in her life, she felt seen and heard.

 'Maybe, I am wanted and love after all.' Was the last thing she thought before drifting off to sleep.

Time Skip

Hours pass by. 

Queen Akari is in her apartment quarters, in her bedroom, wrapped in her husband's arms. 

"Saki is Sumire's and Dachi's daughter. It's also confirmed that the boy, Micah is Saki's and Apollo's son. I also had the chance to read the documents." The Queen said, breaking the peaceful silence. 

"Despite what she's done, she didn't have a choice as Apollo was controlling her, but I don't want to send her to prison." The Queen concluded.

 Her husband sigh softly, while looking at the ceiling. 

"I know you want to help her, but she did go after your niece, attacked her teammates. According to Ayumu, Kia and her team were found half dead. How could we let that slid? Even if she plants evidence in the Cado's underground vault and wanted someone to find those documents and was calling for help, why didn't she just come to you? She must have heard of your abilities, and she would have known you would have help her before it got this far." He said beside her

. Queen Akari turns to face her husband. "You're right." She agrees softy. 

Her husband's bends his neck down a little and plant a gentle kiss on her forehead. 

Feeling warm inside, her eyes started to get heavy. Dying, being dead, and coming back took a toll on her body and it needed to reset itself.

 Sensing her tiredness, King Itachi wraps his arms around her even tighter, bringing her closer to him. 

"Sleep. You need it. I'll take care of everything for the meantime." He said softly. 

Then with that, she drifted off to a much-needed sleep.
