Ouroboros (Ninjago x Male Reader)

1. Fortune

The ninja looked around in an awe, the dock was filled with other Elemental Masters. People like them. But unlike the four of them, all dressed in ninja suits, the other people were all unique in their own ways. The ninja didn't have to think, they knew they were the only people who had come here as a group.

"Ugh, I told you we shouldn't have worn them." Kai quietly grumbled, before giving all the other Elemental Masters present a look, then continuing.

"The Tournament of Elements. You think all of them have powers like us?" He asked before Lloyd spoke up.

"When I asked my dad about it, he got really suspicious. Like there's something he's keeping from me."

"The fortune cookie said, 'tell no one or else there'd be consequences.'" Cole reminded Lloyd, who just shook it off.

"Relax, we're cool." Lloyd had just said when a pair of footsteps suddenly approached the group.

"Hey! Aren't you guys the ninja?" The four turned to look at the one who had spoken, registering that it was a boy with (h/c) hair and bright (e/c) eyes holding a folding fan, but nothing past that, as the boy had already continued.

"You are, aren't you! I'm a big 'fan'!" The boy, whether intentionally or not, fanned himself on the word fan, before giving the group a smile. The boy seemed to be a bit older than the ninja, but still fairly young judging by his face.

"See? No one here is looking for trouble!" Jay spoke out loud to himself, disguising it as saying it to the others. Being completely honest, Jay was the one worried if some person was going to come pick a fight even before they could get to the tournament.

"Oh, before I forget, let's take a picture!" When Jay didn't receive an answer, the stranger quickly pulled out a small yet expensive looking camera with his free hand, before huddling himself between the ninja.

But at the last second, he suddenly kicked Lloyd to the side, before snapping a picture of the rest of them together, leaving Lloyd out of the picture.

"Aah, it came out great!"The boy beamed in excitement as Lloyd stared at him in confusion for a bit, but thinking it must have been an accident, he just let it go.

"I'm (y/n), it's a pleasure to meet you." The boy offered his hand to them to the team, who all hesitated a bit, but ended up shaking the boy's hand.

After Jay, kai, and Cole had gotten their handshakes, Lloyd too offered his hand to the boy.

"Same here, (y/n). I'm-." The Green Ninja started, when suddenly the (h/c) haired boy pulled his hand back, and with a smile said:

"Oh, not you." Lloyd was left stumped as (y/n) let out a very light laugh, while the other ninja didn't even notice what had happened. Lloyd couldn't really stop to think about that now though, as a red, big ferry arrived at the dock.

A man with quite the mustache walked onto the dock as Elemental Masters lined up and started boarding onto the ferry.

"Welcome, ah, watch your step madam." The man greeted each person while Kai had suddenly frozen in place for some reason, only Lloyd noticed though, as he stood right behind Kai. The man and Jay had a minor dispute over whether Jay's nunchucks were, well nunchucks, or just big chopsticks. I think everyone knows how that ended. The poor nunchucks were chucked into the water, never to be recovered.

"Welcome, welcome..." The man greeted each person that got on board, until suddenly raising his hand right before (y/n), who was in line right behind Jay, and right in front of Kai.

"Stop. Who are you?" The man asked, trying to sound as professional as possible, but even he seemed confused about something.

"You can call me Fritz Donnegan, Master of Space." Jay snickered from where he was on the ferry as the mustache man seemed to genuinely think about it.
