Bansha's creepy and breathy chanting would have given any mortal shivers. For (y/n) it was unpleasant, but nothing more than that.

"Can he hear you?" Morro, sitting in his makeshift throne asked. The 'he' Morro was talking about being Ronin. Bansha had a useful ability to speak directly into others' heads, even though Ronin was in the ninjas tea shop, and the ghost herself was in Stiix.

"Oh, he can hear me alright." Bansha paused her chanting for just a second to answer Morro.

"Tell him it's time to pay his debts. We need that sword." Morro stated, and without answering, Bansha continued chanting.

Soul archer and Ghoultar were standing on the side silently, watching Bansha just like Morro and (y/n)

Not much time after, Bansha quieted down, "All done. He'll be on his way soon enough."

"Then we wait," Morro plainly let out, before Bansha turned to him.

"But in the while we still have time, I do have a question for you, Morro." Morro's face that was basically glued into a glare, didn't change, but he quieted down and waited for Bansha to continue.

"This person you keep bringing with you..." Bansha stated, throwing a glance of suspicion towards the left armrest of the throne, where (y/n) was sitting.

Building one throne had already taken a while, and (y/n) didn't want to wait, even though Morro had insisted he needed one as well. In the end, (y/n) had won the debate and settled himself in his current place.

Morro glanced at (y/n), before turning his eyes back to Bansha. "What about him?"

"Why do you drag a mere mortal like him around? He has only slowed us down-"

"I'm the one our queen chose on this mission! I'm the one who decided what slows us down and what doesn't!" Morro snapped at her, visibly irritated.

"But she has a poi-" Soul archer made the mistake of speaking up, as Morro's fingers dug into both armrests of the throne.

"Do you two want to go back to the Cursed Realm?!" Morro let out, and the two ghosts instantly went silent.

(y/n) smiled and leaned over, placing his hands on Morro's shoulders. "It's alright. I don't mind. How about we just let them off the hook with a warning for now?" (y/n) suggested as Morro stared at him doubtfully.

Seeing this, (y/n) almost chuckled, then leaned close enough to whisper to Morro. "Next time they talk back, you can give them a fate worse than eternity in the Cursed Realm." Now this proposal Morro liked, and made the ghost relax a little.

But they were cut off as Ghoultar spoke up with an upbeat tone. "Ghoultar for one like (y/n)!" Though it didn't seem to help his case, just the opposite.

"And you! If you dare so much as speak his name I will...!" But Morro was once again stopped by (y/n), who wrapped his arms around him, holding the ghost back, though it just looked like  some affectionate contact.

"Shh..." (y/n) even whispered into his ear, trying calm Morro down, worried for Ghoultar's safety. The ghost who referred to himself in third person wasn't the sharpest, (y/n) had the feeling he'd get in trouble with Morro sooner or later.

Morro thankfully listened to (y/n) better than (y/n) initially thought. In return, (y/n) was a lot more confident than Morro had anticipated.

That's when a loud series of knocks broke the tension in the room. As everyone's eyes turned to the door, Soul Archer floated through the wall to check who was there.
