I'm feeling good, so here's an extra update.

The air was already a bit heavy as (y/n) walked into the orphanage. The kids were whispering, and the adults were mumbling among themselves, giving a multitude of looks and glances to (y/n), who unfortunately couldn't see any of them.

(y/n) walked his usual path, when suddenly one of the adults stopped him with a call.

"Mr. (y/n)! You're here to see Harumi again?"

"Of course," (y/n) answered, barely turning to face the lady who had spoke, "Is something the matter?" He added a question as the lady hesitated to answer.

"Well, she's... not in a great mood. She's been throwing things and refusing to leave her room, we don't know what to do..." (y/n)'s mouth opened, but before he could say anything, the lady had already covered on side other mouth and whispered to (y/n).

"She's being adopted soon, I'm sure you know already," (y/n) shut his mouth and gave the lady a nod before letting her continue.

"Well, the family that's adopting her is... Ninjago's royal family." (y/n) didn't look surprised, but he sure was. He wasn't really sure what to think of the information, but still thanked the lady before he rushed towards Harumi's room.

He accidentally hit his foot on some toy laying in his way, but he didn't let the little pain bother him as he rushed upstairs and right in front of Harumi's door.

He knocked on it softly, before calling out, "Harumi? It's me." Almost immediately (y/n) heard a pair footsteps rush up to the door and pull it open hastily.

(y/n) didn't know exactly where to look even as Harumi grabbed his hand and pulled him inside the room, slamming the door shut behind (y/n).

Before (y/n) had even said anything, Harumi grabbed onto his clothes and pulled with fingers and nails in desperation.

"...I don't want to." The tiniest of voices snuck out of her mouth as (y/n) carefully reached down, finding his hands onto Harumi's shoulders before rubbing them comfortingly.

"Don't be sad now, you'll finally have a home! You don't have to sit around all day in this dump anymore." He tried to speak words of comfort, but Harumi's tone hadn't changed.

"...Don't make me." It was a miracle she was even talking so much in such little time, but that wouldn't change the situation or anything.

"It's not my decision, it's theirs. I'm sure your new family will treat you well." He spoke before feeling the girl's body move as she shook her head violently.

"...They won't." She sounded like she was about to burst into tears.

"They will, Harumi. And it's for your best. You'll take all of your things with you, don't worry, nothing will be left behind." (y/n) put a smile on his face as usual, but didn't manage to look Harumi in the eyes, well, it's not like he could look at anything at all.

"But you will be..." Harumi was still insisting on the topic, and (y/n) was still trying his best to comfort her.

"Me? Harumi, I'm just a psychologist. If you need more sessions, there are plenty of other people out there that are willing to help you."

"No... Don't leave me..."
"Harumi, have I ever talked bout-"
"Don't leave!"
"Harumi. Please sit down, and let me speak."

"I know your story by know, so I think it's fair that I'll tell you my story too. Since this is our last session together, I want to make sure it's one you'll remember." (y/n) leaned down, hopefully looking into Harumi's eyes, but the chances of that were low.

"But-"

"Or I could go home early, that's fine too." Immediately Harumi shut up and ran straight to her bed before sitting down obediently.

Unlike usual, (y/n) didn't sit down next to her, but instead knelt down on the floor in front of her.

"I never met my parents, All I remember, I became an orphan the second I was born. But a kind old man took me in." (y/n) wished he could see how Harumi reacted to his words.

"He raised me as his own, with care. But then came the day I met him. The person I know was meant for me. You'll meet someone like that too, some day."

"But he left. He left far, far away, where I cannot reach him. But I know he'll come back. I'll make him come back."

"Harumi, I don't want you to depend on me. If there's something you want badly enough, you can make it happen. Force it to happen."

(y/n) heard Harumi mumbling under her breath, "I wan't you to stay..."

"Make me! Make the world obey, make sure I won't leave." Harumi stayed quiet for a while, before (y/n) heard the girl rummage through her things and grab something, before walking over to (y/n).

She stood next to (y/n) for a while, until (y/n) felt the girl grab on of his hands. (y/n) waited for a while, before he felt something pierce his skin, and feeling something wet run down his hand.

Blood. (y/n) wanted to laugh. Harumi had pricked him with a needle. It was so terribly cute (y/n) felt like he'd die.

It reminded of the old days, when he was still figuring out Heaven's Door tea and it's effects. All by himself.

"Good job Harumi, but not good enough." (y/n) grabbed the needle from Harumi swiftly, surprising Harumi.

"I'm leaving, you're getting adopted, and that's final. And I think you've played around enough with sharp objects, so I'm taking this back." (y/n) stood up, feeling Harumi cling onto the hem of his clothes desperately, until (y/n) shook her off.

"If you can't make me stay, find a way to make me come back." We're the last ever words (y/n) spoke to Harumi, before he left the orphanage for good. He got his pay from on of the caretakers, then took the bus back to Ninjago City.
