Ouroboros (Ninjago x Male Reader)

18. Family

(y/n) was surprisingly relaxed. Although he was riding on the back of an elemental dragon that even their owners couldn't get over, he was acting like this was just another Monday to him.

He faced away from the direction they were heading, fanning his face lightly as he gazed back towards Chen's island.

He was sitting comfortably on Cole's dragon, still keeping a safe distance from the Earth ninja. Cole had warned the passenger about the possibility that he might fall, but (y/n) didn't seem to be worried about that.

Lloyd knew he was supposed to be leading the Elemental Masters, but as Zane was the one currently at the front of their group, the Green Ninja slowed down a bit just to see (y/n) a bit clearer.

But the moment Lloyd had a clear view of Lloyd's face, (y/n) suddenly shot a glare his way, before turning away just as swiftly.

Lloyd felt irritated, but pushed the feeling down as Ninjago City finally came to his view. The ninja decided to bring Garmadon and Skylor to the Samurai X cave, since they both been turned into Anacondrai along with Chen and his army.

(y/n) meanwhile wasn't a snake, obviously. And as the group landed down to take a short break, Cole turned to the boy.

"You should stay here in the city, go with Dareth to his dojo or if you live near-"

"I'm coming with you all." (y/n) cut him off out of nowhere, as Lloyd whipped his head to (y/n)'s direction.

"No you're not." He simply stated, but got a mocking smile in return.

"Why not? I want to see pops. And I can help save Ninjago too, you look like you need the help." Lloyd hated to admit it, but currently they needed all the help they could get.

"Fine."

And so most of the Elemental Masters stayed behind, meanwhile the ninja flew to their 'little' hiding place, the Samurai X Cave.

To (y/n) it was actually pretty magnificent. So many technological wonders he didn't even dream of existing when he was still a kid. For example, the falcon. (y/n) watched as it flew down and landed on Zane's arm.

"And good to see you too, friend." Zane gave it a greeting as (y/n) leaned towards the two with curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

"What a well trained falcon!" (y/n) exclaimed as the falcon tilted it's head at the stranger.

"The falcon isn't a pet, he is a friend." Zane explained as (y/n) just stared at him doubtfully. In the end he gave Zane a halfhearted nod.

"Would you like to pet him?" Zane offered his hand towards (y/n), who smiled. He raised his left hand and carefully offered his hand to the falcon to inspect.

The falcon leaned down towards his hand, probably to smell it, if the robot falcon could smell in the first place. But suddenly it twitched, and bit (y/n)'s hand as Zane's face turned to one of shock.

Zane immediately questioned the falcon as he pulled it away from (y/n), "Why did you bite him? He's a friend!" The falcon however didn't listen to him, and instead cawed before flying off to somewhere else.

"I'm very sorry. He has never done that before." Zane apologized as (y/n) lifted up his hand. He watched as blood started trickling down from the wound. (y/n) seemed to not care that his palm and ring finger were slowly getting covered in the red liquid.

"It's fine," (y/n) reassured him, before looking around to find something. That 'something' being Lloyd.

(y/n) noticed him walking in front of them, and walked up to him in not even a bit hurried steps. (y/n) wiped his hand on the Green Ninjas shoulder by masking it as a quick tap to get his attention.
