I'm updating a shit ton this week because of this and that anyways YIPPPEEEEE!!!

"Soul Archer is a little busy. It'll take a while for him to get back, we'll go over this when he arrives," Morro explained to the only other ghost, Bansha, who who scoffed as she floated around in boredom.

Morro didn't really care if Bansha was bored or not, instead he kept glancing at (y/n), who was standing deeper in the cave, looking around the dimly lit cave, not wanting to bother Morro.

"What about Ghoultar? Ghoultar bored!" Ghoultar, floating upside down, flailed his arms dramatically as Morro groaned in annoyance.

"Stand watch or something, just don't bother us," Morro told Ghoultar and Bansha once more, before walking over to (y/n).

Morro tapped him on the arm, before turning to walk deeper into the cave, tilting his head as a call to follow him, and (y/n) hastily did just that.

there was a tiny bit of sunlight in the cave, but it came in through tiny cracks that painted the ground in grayish lines of light, like two-colored mosaic. The place was almost like a clearing, except instead of flowers and grass, there was moss and tiny ferns growing in the cracks of the stone, and the freeing sight of endless hills was nowhere to be seen.

It wasn't ideal, but to (y/n) it felt like a dream. Seeing the bright glimmer in his eyes, Morro took off the cape he'd been wearing, and spread it on the ground before turning back to (y/n).

(y/n) understood right away, and sat down on the right side of the cloth while Morro settled on the left.

At first there was a moment of silence, as (y/n) stared at Morro like he was staring at a painting. The prettiest painting (y/n) had ever seen.

Morro didn't say anything either, he seemed happy to just sit there and look back at (y/n), though once in a while he averted his eyes, but they always returned to (y/n).

(y/n)'s thoughts wandered all around without an end in sight. Morro was finally here, finally in his reach. (y/n) felt alive.

He could hardly remember what his prior worries were, and what kind of troubles he had. None of it seemed to have ever existed to begin with now. Indeed, (y/n) felt more alive than ever.

He felt like he was in a movie. (y/n) wanted to run around barefoot and go dancing in a field of sunflowers, with Morro of course.

Or maybe they could go dance in the rain, letting their clothes stick to their skin as they as splashed around until they were both sick of it. Or sick because of it, catching a cold in the rain wasn't really that rare.

Oh, oh, oh! Then they could take care of each other, live in (y/n)'s apartment like a married couple. They could eat together, sleep together, watch movies together, bathe together... The thought made (y/n) blush a wild maroon red.

Sadly, bathing together seemed to be impossible for them, and so did dancing in the rain. A ghost couldn't possibly stand water, much less a bath.

(y/n)'s glee died down. Seeing this, Morro quickly raised a hand and caught one of (y/n)'s hands in his. Though (y/n) felt no body heat from Morro, the simple touch made (y/n) drown under a wave of pleasant heat.

A ghost could phase through objects and people, but it was all up to them. Morro could easily touch anything without phasing through it, even if he wasn't in Lloyd's body.

Suddenly (y/n) got a crazy urge to kiss Morro, so he leaned in, but only inched away from his mouth, he stopped, and backed away, flustered and emotions mixed.

"What's wrong?" Morro suddenly asked, as (y/n) quickly leaned away, as if he had forgotten about the fact until now. (y/n) thought about it for a moment, before answering Morro.

"As long as it's you, I don't care whose body you're in, but it would would be less awkward if I didn't know the person you're possessing..." (y/n) suggested in a careful tone, as Morro looked off to the side.

"...Wait here." Morro suddenly commanded as he stood up.

"Alright." (y/n) of course listened to him, although he was a bit confused. (y/n) stayed on his spot while Morro walked back to the other side of the cave.

After a minute or so, Morro came back in his ghost form, dragging the barely conscious Loyd across the floor behind him.

(y/n) put on a smile, although his eyes wandered with worry onto Lloyd every now and then as the Green Ninja weakly moved his arms in a pointless effort to get away.

Well, (y/n) should have know that was going to happen. Morro deserved to be the Green Ninja, and Lloyd was just a worthless little obstacle in his path. Just like he had been an obstacle on (y/n)'s path.

Morro casually dumped Lloyd to the side, before walking back towards (y/n). But before he could sit down, (y/n) rose to his knees and hastily spoke up.

"Don't leave him there! I mean... Leave him with Bansha and Ghoultar instead. I want to be alone with you." Morro stared him down for a few seconds, before finally agreeing to (y/n)'s request and dragging Lloyd back to the front of the cave. When Morro came back, he was alone, but he looked a bit irritated.

Not because of (y/n) specifically, maybe it was Lloyd. Most likely Lloyd had managed to muster the energy to say something. That was (y/n)'s theory. But he wasn't going to ask, not even if he was paid to.

When Morro sat down again, he didn't look at (y/n). He just glared at the ground with his fists clenched. (y/n) knew Morro had done it for him, but (y/n) wouldn't have ever asked Morro to take Lloyd away if he knew it'd make the Master of Wind feel this bad.

But how could he have known. Morro wasn't always like this.

Although Morro looked the same, on the inside he was very different. He had changed, and so had (y/n). But now that they were together, their old selves were showing, almost unconsciously.

"I love you," (y/n) suddenly whispered, and Morro basically whipped his head back to (y/n).

"...I ...love you too," Morro's eyes were wide, he hadn't expected for (y/n) to say it, but Morro still returned the action.

(y/n) was pretty good at reading people. Well, people like Morro, those who had clear goals and easily readable expressions.

Morro was not just copying his words, he could really still reciprocate his feelings after all this time. It made (y/n) happy, the happiest he had been in a long time.

Almost immediately (y/n) pounced on Morro, wrapping his arms around the ghost tightly. (y/n) stationed himself on Morro's lap, pushing Morro down on the cave floor with a gentle, yet demanding push.

He spoke with a surprising confidence in his voice, "You said Soul archer will be back in a while. How long is 'a while'?"

"Maybe an hour or two," Morro answered, starting to piece (y/n)'s actions and words together. He lifted his hands onto (y/n)'s body, and the boy gave Morro a sweet smile.

"Then that's all we need."
