Spiderman swung through downton New York, his chest heaving with each pull at his webs attatched to skyscrapers. His spidey senses went wild as he turned mid air to see what the danger was. A flash of red and black slammed into him as he hit a rooftop. Spiderman rolled before smacking the side of the roof, coming to an abrupt stop. His already damaged back taking most of the hit. Spiderman rolled onto his chest as he wheezed in pain. His right eye stayed squeezed shut as he looked only with his left to see Deadpool standing on the other side of the roof, completely untouched.

"Pool?" Spiderman asked in confusion. Why did he tackle him like that, he knew better. "What the heck, Pool? I called you because I needed help with the enemy, not for you to pretend to be my enemy." Spiderman glared at his partner as he helped himself up, leaning forward slightly as his ribs constricted. Deadpool continued to stare at Spiderman without any consideration for the younger man. Spiderman rose a brow under his mask as he looked at his partner. His spidey senses continued to buzz. "Deadpool?" Uneasiness snuck into the hero's voice.

Deadpool reached back and unsheathed one of his katanas. Spiderman's senses went haywire as he took an uneasy step back from his partner, his heel meeting the rooftops concrete edge as he did so. "Wade, what are you doing?" The taller man didn't answer as the whites of his leather mask glared at the shorter man. Spiderman's hairs on his arm were standing up underneath his red suit as his heartbeat picked up. He began to feel the small rise of panic in his stomach as he began talking to Karen. "Karen, what's wrong with him?"

The AI spoke sweetly to Spiderman, "Nothing is showing up on my scans, Peter." Spiderman frowned at the answer. "Call Pops, do not call Dad." The phone went through as Deadpool began stepping towards Spiderman.

"Peter? Are you alright?" A slighlty worried captain spoke within Peter's comm link in his mask. Peter took a moment to answer as he readied his webs at his partner.

"Pops, something is wrong with Wade. He's not answering me and he tackled me mid-air onto a rooftop. I don't know what's wrong with him. I don't want Dad to know either because you and I both know what his firt initiative will be." Peter's heart was thudding in his ears as Deadpool continued to make his way to the younger hero.

Steve's voice became more stern, "Peter, I have to tell Tony. If Wade is acitng this way it must be some sort of mind control. You and I both know if we're going to figure it out, Tony would be the one to do it. Especially from his standpoint. I am on my way with your Dad. If Wade comes at you Peter, I need you to hold your own. I know that you know he can take a hit. If it is mind control, he may still be somehwere in there and you know he is trying to fight it. So I need you to fight." Peter began to feel nervous and torn about the situation. Wade was just a few steps from him, his katana at his waist. "Peter!" Peter snapped his attention to the video camera of his Pops and now Dad who had already suited up. Tony glared into the screen, "you have to fight him, Pete. We are on our way." Peter gasped as Wade lifted his katana and swung. Peter flung himself away and he heard as the katana smacked the concrete wall behind him. His dads yelling through his comm link. Peter hung up on them so he coud focus on the man in front of him.

"Pool, stop!" Spiderman was back on his feet as he turned to the merc. Now, both katanas were drawn. The last thing the young hero wanted to do was fight the man in front of him. This was his bestfriend, his sidekick, his lover. Peter heaved another breath of air as he webbed Deadpool's feet to the rooftop. The merc glared and broke through it easily with his katnas. He kicked off the side of the rooftop and threw a katana at the younger man in red. Peter's masked, white eyes went wide as he ducked the thrown katana but was caught off guard as the other still wielded by the ex-merc sliced through his right arm. Peter let out a yelp as he was grabbed by the stronger man's open hand and slammed into the ground. Peter pushed up on the man's chest. Deadpool brought his katana down only for Spidey to stop it between both hands, the blade inches from his face. "W-Wade, please. I do not want to fight you. Please, stop!" The younger superhero was on the verge of tears as he realized he was really going to have to hit the man if he didn't want to die. The ex-merc responded with taking a hand off the katana, pushing on it with his chest instead as he continued to straddle the vigilante, and brought his fist down into the superheros face multiple times. Spiderman whined with the last hit, his hands wavering as he struggled to hold the blade. Deadpool reached down and ripped the front of the mask off, the back falling onto the top of the roof. Peter's wide, brown eyes met the unphased merc's white ones.
