Tony went straight to the raft. He went straight for Ross, everyone following close behind. Agents stepped in their way.
"Anthony. You can't just come marching in here. It's only been an hour since I've taken the boy," Ross smiles and crossed his arms.
"Where is he?" Clint demanded. Ross glared at him. Steve stepped up beside Tony.
"Tell us. We have every right to see him, and you know it. Secretary." Steve challenged the man. Ready to take any action he had to go see the teen.
"Fine," he glared at everyone, "let's go." They walked down a corridor. Then, they took one turn and there he was. Peter was in a cell with clear glass. A collar around him. To keep him from using his powers. Peter looked up and hope filled his body and his eyes.
"Mr. Stark!" Peter jumped up and hit the glass. His eyes were still terrified. "I wanna go home. It's cold here. Too cold. It all hurts!" Peter cried. Tony touched the glass and put his hand over one of the holes in the cell wall of the glass.
"I'm here. I'm getting you out."
"Actually, you won't be." Ross spoke up. Tony whipped his head to him and so did everyone else.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Nat asked.
"He hasn't signed. I'm legally not aloud to take him out."
"Give him the damn papers! I don't care! Just get him out of here or so god damn help me I'll personally take him out of you and shove your head so far up you-."
"Natasha." Steve is warned. He stepped to be face to face with Ross, "listen. Get him those papers. Now."
Not even two minutes later a soldier came up with the documents and placed them next to the cell where a pen was also placed. Peter was let out, the collar still around him.
"Peter, sign them and we'll take you home," Tony encouraged. Peter read through it and frowned.
"Mr. Stark. I don't . . . I don't agree." A silence swept over the Avengers. Steve looked at Tony and the memories of two came rushing back.
"W-What," Tony stuttered. He looked at Ross with a glare and back to Peter. "Pete, this is the only way we can take you back home."
"I-I don't agree. Why would I want to sign this? This defeats my rights as a person. I'm not even of age." Peter defended himself at looked back at Ross. "This isn't right, just let me go. I haven't done anything wrong."
"Well. That's too bad. Looks like all your little buddies can return home and you'll be living out your life here. Adult by law or not." Ross shrugged and ordered Peter to be put back.
"No! He'll sign! Just lemme talk to him!" Tony argued and brought Peter back to him. "Pete, buddy you need to sign these. Please. I can't lose you Peter. Not this time. Not ever. Just sign them. I promise it will be okay." Tony felt years well up as he locked eyes with the teen.
"Okay, Mr. Stark. I'll sign."
"Thank god."
Peter signed the papers. And Ross growled. He went up with a key and jammed it into the collar and ripped it off the boy. Peter yelped and frowned at the man.
"Get rough with him one more time and it will be the end of you. I don't care if I'm I take his place," Tony warmed as he grabbed Peter to him.
"We're leaving. You follow or any of these men, we'll not hesitate. Goodbye," Bucky announced. The team agreed silently and made their way home. Back at home Peter hugged Tony.
"I thought I wasn't gonna get out of there," Peter whimpered. Burrowing his head into his mentors chest.
"That's alright, kiddo. We're not ever going to leave you bud. I promise," Tony reassured.
