•A week later•

The music was loud, and the Cameron's house was surrounded by people everywhere. More people came then expected.

It was intoxicating.

"Hi, do you know where the drinks are?" A stranger asked Kiara. "Uh, yeah. Just in the kitchen." She replied. She shoved through the crowds of people until she was finally in the bathroom.

She breathed out heavily, and she felt her heart beating fast. God, she couldn't even imagine Jj.

She looked at herself in the mirror, the blue spaghetti strap dress hugging her body so perfectly, and her curls falling down to her shoulders.

She regretted telling Rose to invite more people, and she hated that the only reason she did that was because she was being petty. She heard her phone ding and she quickly picked it up.

She sighed and responded, before opening the door and going back into the lions den.

"Maybe we should hire someone to clean up all this mess for us." Wheezie said, picking up trash around the yard. "Yeah, great idea, Einstein." I joked. "Rafe isn't even helping!" She complained. "Wheezie, just pick up the trash." Rose snapped. "It was worth it though." Ward said. "Yes, it was. Not like my opinion matters though, Jj what did you think?" Rose asked.

"You didn't need to invite the entire continent." I said. Rose sighed, "Well, your opinion doesn't matter either."

The door opened, and Kiara stepped out of the house. "I finished cleaning inside, Rose. I also managed to get the dishwasher running so the dishes are done as-well." She said. "Thank you so much, Kiara. Truly." Rose thanked. "Of course." Kiara replied.

"You going somewhere?" I asked, wrapping my arm around her waist. "Yep, need to go get some more cleaning supplies." She answered. "Mm, can I come with?" "Nope, you look busy enough." She joked. "Alright, drive safely." I said. "Always." I leaned forward and kissed her softly.

"Get a room!" Wheezie yelled. Kiara laughed and separated from me. "I'll be quick." She said, before leaving.

"You know, that Lopez boy was asking about her yesterday, Jj." Rose told me. "Yeah?" I asked, looking at her. "Oh, yes. All sorts of questions, like if she was single or how I knew her, you know, questions guys usually ask when they're interested." She replied. "What did you tell him?" "To ask her himself." She told me. "Did he?" "What do you think? That boys ego is bigger than he is." She responded, making me laugh.

"Weird, Kiara never told me about that." I said. "Why would she? You're just as hot headed as a pepper." She told me. I rolled my eyes, "Why didn't you tell him that she wasn't single? Or that the reason you met her was because of her boyfriend?" I asked. "Oh, please. Who am I to get into peoples lives?" She said, sarcastically.

I sighed and dropped the conversation, knowing that I was probably gonna ask Kie later.

"How do you guys get a break and I don't?" Wheezie asked, walking towards us. "You're acting like we didn't do everything." I said. "That's because you didn't, I did." She responded. "We got it, honey. You can go inside." Rose told her and she left. "I wouldn't have gotten mad, by the way." I said, tying my trash bag. Rose scoffed, "Of course you wouldn't have, that's why you heard that from Kiara and not me." She responded, before walking away, leaving me wondering.

I know I have angry issues but it's gotten better throughout the years. I mean yeah, I'm not saying that I wouldn't cave someone's skull in if they tried getting with Kie, but hey, back then I would do that if they looked at her. But like I said, it's gotten better. There was just someone who was really pushing that limit, and that was Rafe mother fucking Cameron.
