(Wheezie)

I was sitting by the edge of the pool, my toes dipping in the water. Rafe walked over and sat by me, but he didn't say anything.

I sighed, "What are you doing, Rafe?" I asked. He looked down at his lap. "They're happy together, why are you trying to ruin what they have?" I added.

"He ruined my life-" He started but I cut him off, "No, you're being petty! It's not Jjs fault that you couldn't stop doing drugs!" I yelled.

"Don't you think about how that affects other people?" I asked, my voice breaking. He looked up at me, "Wheezie..." "I needed my big brother, it was like no one noticed me, I-" A sob came out of my mouth.

"When they sent you away it was just me- I needed you, I needed Jj, I needed Sarah. But they were gone, you were gone." I finished. "I'm sorry." He said, softly.

"Just leave them alone, Rafe." I told him, getting up and leaving.

(Rafe)

Wheezie was soft as shit.

"Wheezie, come on." I called out to her. I heard the door slam behind her and I sighed.

I got up, going to my room. I pulled out a small baggie full of cocaine, spreading the powder on the nightstand.

I grabbed a 5 dollar bill from my pocket and rolled it up inhaling the drug. My little sister doesn't know what the hell she was talking about.

Until it was all gone, I felt the familiar feeling again, fuck I missed this. I closed my eyes, letting myself relax.

Call it being petty, or some shit like that, I wasn't gonna stop until I had completely ruined Jjs life and managed to own Kiara.

(Kiara)

"Where are you going?" Jj asked, walking in our room and seeing me change. My hair was wrapped in a towel because it was still wet.

"Um, I'm meeting Wheezie." I lied. "Wheezie?" He asked, walking towards the bed. I changed into a pair of jeans shorts and a bikini top, throwing the shirt I had on in the laundry basket.

"Yep." I replied, taking off my towel, my wet hair falling against my shoulders. "I thought you were just with her?" He asked, again. "No, I went to take a bath." I told him.

"Alright, what time are you gonna be back? It's getting late." He asked, taking off his shirt and getting on the bed.

"I don't know, maybe an hour." I responded. "What are you gonna go do?" "Pool." I said, putting on my sandals.

"Can I come?" He asked. "Nope, just girls." I replied. He sighed, "Fine, have fun, baby." He told me.

"I will." I opened the door and went outside. I saw Rafe waiting for me, as he was leaning against the railing.

"Hey." I said, when I close to him. "Jj let you come?" He asked, turning to look at me. His eyes were red, and low, I ignored it.

"Uh, yeah." I said. "Cool." He dragged out. He led me through a hallway, and opened the door. Inside was a pool table located in the center, a wine cellar in the corner and other arcade games.

I gasped, seeing the room. "Holy shit." I said, looking around. He chuckled, "Pretty cool right?" He asked. "I don't even wanna know how much this cost." I said. "I wasn't planning on telling you." He joked.

He went over to the pool table and grabbed the a stick. "You want me to teach you or what?" He asked, and I rolled my eyes, walking over.

He showed me how to play, and I had a good time. We spent the entire time laughing and joking around, and I realized I liked being around him.

"Alright, just gotta fix your arm right here." He said, his chest pressed against my back as I was bent down, concerned on the ball.

I felt his hand on my arm as he lowered it, "Just like that." He told me, his breath hot against my ear. I hit the ball with the pool stick and it rolled into the hole in the corner.

Rafe cheered, "You're getting better already." He said. I chuckled, "Taught by the best." I replied, sarcastically. I went to the other side to retrieve the ball. I saw Rafe reach into his pocket and he pulled out a plastic baggie.

He set it down on the table, and I realized it was cocaine.

Oh

"What?" He asked, seeing my reaction. "Why do you have that?" I asked him. He chuckled, "Chill out, Kie. You're acting like you've never seen cocaine before." He joked, opening the bag.

"I thought you said you quit?" I questioned. He scoffed, "Nah, I was just messing with you." He told me. "You want some?" He asked.

"I-No, I don't want some, Rafe." I said. He shrugged, "More for me then." "What do you mean? Were you inhaling that stuff before we got here?" I asked.

He laughed, "Calm down, it wasn't that much." I scoffed and rolled my eyes, "I'm leaving." I told him, throwing the stick on the table.

"Kiara, are you fucking with me right now?" He yelled, following me. "It's getting late, Rafe." I told him, and opened the door.

"I- Stop being so lame!" He called out and I turned around. "Oh, so 5 minutes ago I was 'cool' and now I'm 'lame' because I don't want to do drugs with you?" I asked.

He rolled his eyes, "Just don't leave so soon." He replied. "I told Jj I would be back in an hour." I said, wanting to leave.

He scoffed, "Fine, whatever." I turned back around and left, heading to my room.

What the fuck was wrong with me?

Why did I think leaving Rafe by himself was a good idea?

My hand was on the doorknob, I rethought my decisions. I could either go back and make sure Rafe was safe to be by himself or I could just leave him.

Hell, if he could easily walk then he would be okay to be by himself tonight.

He had two bags of cocaine

I groaned, and opened the door to my room.

Since when did I sign up to be his babysitter?
