Racheal's POV
I was staring at Vincent Hamilton. The Vincent Hamilton. Son of Adrian Hamilton wealthiest man in the US, Vincent has made quite a name for himself in the business industry even though he hasn't taken over the company completely.Damn this man looked like a Greek God. Sharp jawline. sea blue eyes, jet black hair muscular build and pink kissable lips. I wonder how it will.... Stop I screamed In my head.
"Sorry" I whispered about to pass through but he sidestepped me. Great I'm a dead woman.
He gently grabbed my chin and lifted my face so I was looking into his eyes. My lips parted on their on accord and his eyes dropped to lips for a second before looking back into my eyes.
"Come" he said and walked down the hall. I stood still for a minute trying to comprehend what was happening. He turned around, shot me a look and I moved immediately.
We walked out the premises and into the parking lot. Everywhere we went everyone turned to stare. His presence commanded attention and he hardly spared anyone a glance so either he didn't know or just didn't care.
We walked over to an Audi s8 and he opened the passengers door for me. I hesitated for a second and stepped in. He closed the door made his way around and stepped into the drivers seat.
We both sat in an uncomfortable silence for sometime before I broke it "where I'm I here?" I asked tired of the silence
"Marry me" he said. I remained quiet for a few seconds before bursting into laughter "that's funny" I said but quietened down when I saw the look he gave me.
"Oh you're serious" I said squirming under his gaze. "Why do you want to marry me?" I asked indulging in his conversation.
"Why not?" He answered. "I like you" he stated.
"You like me" he said and I choked "so let's get married" he said as if it was normal.
"I don't think it works that way?" I said with furrowed brows "and who said I like you?" he scoffed.
"Oh please you think I didn't notice you undressing me with your eyes" he said and my cheeks reddened "I mean who wouldn't" he said smugly. I scoffed.
"Cocky much... look we don't know each other enough to get married" I tried to reason.
"Let's get to know each other then" he said giving me a blank look. Damn. His face gave nothing of his emotions.
I opened and closed my mouth unable to form words as I just gaped at him.
"So it's settled then" he said and pulled out his phone.
"No" I shook my head "why would you want to marry someone cos you like them. Feelings change you know" I spoke.
"I don't like you" he said shifting his face closer and I leaned back trying to put distance between us until my back was pressed on the door.
"I'm obsessed with you" his gaze dropped to my lip as his tongue darted out and moistened his "And that cupcake never happens. I like something I make sure I get it" he whispered and leaned back in his seat.
"I am not something to be owned" I glared at him "And I'm not marrying you" I said opened the car door and stepped out. I slammed the car door dramatically and stumped out of the school.
"Ahh that was infuriating" I groaned. "Glad that's over" I sighed as I stopped a cab and got in.
*
"And do you know what he said? " I paused "if I like something I get it" I said trying to copy his voice. I got off the cab to find Lizzie already waiting for me and I immediately told her about Vincent.
"And you said no?" She asked looking shocked. "Of course I said no" I screeched.
"Just asking" she raised her hand up surrendering "I mean have you seen him. That guys walking sex on legs" she hummed.
"You think I don't know that" I said hauling my pillow at her.
"So you think he really left you alone?" She asked with raised eyebrows. "Of course he'll leave me alone" I said in a duh tone "Except this is Vincent Hamilton we're talking about he won't back off that easily" She stated.
"Not my business he could go fuck himself for all I care" I said stomping out of our room.
"I'm gonna borrow your car" I screamed from the kitchen where I grabbed her keys, my phone from the counter and left the house.
I got into the car drove for a few minutes before going to a stop in front of a grocery store.
I parked the car at the side made sure the door was locked and went in. I grabbed a shopping cart off the side and went further into the store.
I grabbed the basic necessities like juice, milk eggs, flour, rice, canned bean and a few other things before heading to the snack section and filled my cart with Cheetos, Oreos and other unhealthy shit.
"Hey I know you" two white girls approached me. Don't get me wrong I may sound a little racist but as a brown skinned girl living in a white country I don't get approached by whites a lot cos they be looking at me like I'm some shit. The only ones who do just comes to talk shit in my face.
I looked around to be sure it was me they were talking to which they were cos I was the only motherfucker on the aisle.
"You do?" I asked with furrowed brows. "Yeah you're one of the girls that performed yesterday. I'm Cassie and this is my friend Sarah we attend Duke with you we're in the literature department" they introduced themselves.
"I'm Rachael and I'm in the choreography department it's nice to meet you" I said feeling all my tension ease.
"Oh we know, sorry that sounded creepy but you guys were amazing" Sarah said.
"Thanks" I beamed.
"We should totally exchange contacts" they said and we quickly pulled out our phones and exchanged contacts.
"See you around it was nice meeting you" they said as they waved me off and I waved them back as I approached the counter to pay for my stuff.
