Vincent POV
"Hey Vincent. where'd you go?" Mason asked when I stepped into the car. "Somewhere" I answered curtly turned on the engine and drove off.*
"Vincent you left without us this morning" Mason said sliding into the empty seat beside me as the others followed behind taking the seats around me."Busy" I said with gaze fixed on my phone."You could have at least told us" Asher mumbled as he pressed a kiss on Sarah's forehead.
"Don't you have anything to do?" I scowled at them. "Nope" Mason smirked at me. If he knows how much I'm holding back right now.
I stood up grabbed my notebook and left the class without a second glance. I walked down the hallway, out the school building and headed to the choreography department.
I walked into the building to see some people littered around probably waiting for the dancers to come out. After the performance last night they became the talk of the school they even got printed in the schools paper and it's not even up to 24 hours.
I stood by the ceiling to floor glass wall watching as they all huddled around the lady who looked to be telling a story. My eyes immediately found her as I drank in her appearance. She was wearing matching black hoodie and sweatpants with a black face cap turned to the back sitting on her head. Yet she still managed to look so fucking hot.
I didn't even need to look for her in the crowd. She always stood out.
I stood there staring at her watching her every movement for up to an hour. The instructor said something which caused a lot of hoots and shouts from the boys as the class dispersed.
I watched as the dancers slowly trickled out each casting me a look of surprise as they passed but they could go fuck themselves. I wasn't here for either of them.
She finally approached the door staring at her phone with crunched brows. I stood by the door thinking she would stop but she ran into me making a cute umph sound.
She rubbed her forehead mumbling something incoherently. She looked up and her mouth dropped as she openly checked me out.
She snapped back to reality mumbled an apology and looked down about to sidestep me but I blocked her path.
I gently gripped her chin up so she was looking at my face. Her lips parted as my eyes flickered down for a second before looking back into her eyes. Fuck. I really want to kiss her right now.
"Come" I said and walked away. I stopped and turned around when I noticed she wasn't moving. Only to find her looking at me in confusion and fear...why would she fear me. I would never hurt her. I could practically see the wheels turning in her head. I shot her a look and she moved immediately.
We left the building and stepped into the parking lot. People turned to stare all asking the same question. Why is she with Vincent Hamilton? Cos she's mine.
I mentally prayed not to find Mason waiting by my car for his own good. We approached my car and no sign of Mason. I unlocked it and opened the passengers door for her.
I could see the hesitation in her eyes as she looked around us and bit her lip as she took in the amount of attention we were getting. Her gaze flickered to me one last time before she stepped into the car. I closed the passengers door when she was properly seated made my way around and stepped into the drivers seat.
I'm not sure she's going to be comfortable going anywhere with me. So I just opted to talk in the car instead. No disturbance, burning stares and eavesdroppers.
"Why I'm I here?" She asked breaking the silence.
"Marry me" I went straight to the point. She remained quiet for a few seconds trying to process my words and she burst into laughter. Why is she laughing?. I frowned. "That was funny" she chuckled but quietened down when I threw her a scowl.
"Oh you're serious" she said with furrowed brows squirming under my gaze. "Why do you want to marry me?" she asked.
"Why not?" I asked "I like you" I stated
"You like me" I said and she choked I scowled at her again "so let's get married" I finished."I don't think it works that way" she said with furrowed brows "and who said I liked you?" she asked and I scoffed. Who doesn't.
"Oh please. You think I didn't notice you undressing me with your eyes" I clipped at her and her cheeks reddened "I mean who wouldn't" I said smugly and she scoffed.
"Cocky much" she muttered under her breath but I still heard her "look we don't know each other enough to get married" she tried to reason.
"Let's get to know each other then" I said giving her a blank look
She opened and closed her mouth unable to form words as she just gaped at me. I wonder how she would look when she's breathless under me. Fuck. I was getting a hard-on
"So it's settled then" I said and pulled out my phone about to dial my mom.
"No" she shook her head stopping me. "why would you want to marry someone cos you like them. Feelings change you know" she spoke.
"I don't like you" I said shifting my face closer and she leaned back trying to put distance between us until her back was pressed on the door.
"I'm obsessed with you" my gaze dropped to her lip as my tongue darted out and moistened mine "And that cupcake never happens. I like something I make sure I get it" i whispered into her ears and leaned back to my seat.
"I am not something to be owned" she glared at me. "And I'm not marrying you" she said opened the car door and stepped out. She slammed the car door dramatically and stumped out of the school.
I sat in the car for a few minutes before I chuckled "so fucking hot" i muttered. "I'll get married to you Racheal even if it's the last thing I do" i thought and drove off.
I walked into the house slammed the door behind me and walked into my room. I locked the door behind me not bothering to spare those idiots a glance.
I stepped out of the room once it was dinner time, took a seat on the dining chair and scrolled through my phone as I waited for dinner.
Food was placed on the table and I immediately dug in.
"Vincent you okay?" Cassie asked "fine" I muttered keeping my gaze on my food. "Are you sure?" Sarah pressed. "I said I'm fucking fine" I snapped at them.
"Hey you can't talk to them like that" Asher said tugging Sarah closer to him. I couldn't help the slight ache I felt when I stared at them. Was I jealous?.
"Sorry" I whispered. "It's okay you just look angrier than usual" Sarah said nervously probably afraid of me snapping again"if you need anyone to talk to we're here for you, we're your friends we wouldn't judge you" Mason said. I stayed quiet for a minute before I sighed.
"I got rejected by a girl" I said with clenched jaw.
I looked over to my friends who stared at me in shock.
"I'm sorry a girl rejected you....Vincent of all people" Mason clarified but I remained quiet.
"What did you say to her?" Cassie asked confused.
"I told her to marry me" I shrugged. They all stared at me confused.
"You had a girlfriend all this time and you didn't tell us" Asher asked with hurt while the other three remained quiet.
"We never dated, never even spoke before" I said. They all stared at me in shock and as they opened and closed their mouths unable to form words.
"Wait let me get this straight.... you asked a girl you've never dated or talked to before to marry you" Mason asked perplexed but I remained quiet.
"No wonder she rejected you" Sarah who was quiet all this while said.
"I honestly don't see the point in courting someone. If you really like them marry them" I said. They just stared at me like I had three heads.
"It doesn't work that way" Asher said with crunched brows. I just sighed and walked away.
