Racheals POV
I couldn't help but fiddle with the sleeve of my jacket as we parked in the driveway of the huge condo he shared with his friends.
I have already met them all and they were super nice but I couldn't help the slight nervousness that ran through me at the thought of staying with cool kids. I consider them the cool kids cos everyone knows Vincent Hamilton, Asher Ravens and Mason Miller. Girls can literally kill to get their attention. But sadly Asher was taken, Mason wasn't into commitments and Vincent never spared any girl a glance. Well until now.
The slamming of a door brought me out of my thoughts and I realized Vincent was no longer in the car, I grabbed the handle of the door and was about to push it open but it was suddenly ripped open from the outside with Mason and Cassie peering down at me with huge grins."Racheal" they shrieked as Mason literally ripped me out of the seat. "I missed you"Mason said pulling me for a hug. My eyes widened in shock as my hands laid limb at my sides. I wasn't expecting the hug.
"Get your hands off her" Vincent grumbled pulling me out of Mason's arms and into his chest. Mason pouted childishly but it turned into a grin when he noticed the bags Vincent was holding.
"Yay dips on sharing a room with her" Mason squealed snatching my bags from Vincent hands and ran into the house.
"Over my dead fucking body" Vincent growled out with a scowl resting on his face as he pressed his palm on my lower back and led me into the house.
"Hey" Sarah waved us as we stepped into the house from where she laid on the couch with a sleeping Asher on top of her. Can't deny they make a cute couple."Celebration tonight I've got a new roommate" Mason hollered as he slipped back into the living room.
"She is not sleeping in the same room with you dipshit" Vincent deadpanned.
"Then where would she sleep?" He said and gasped dramatically "don't tell you're going to make her sleep on the couch" Mason glared playfully.
"She'll be sleeping with me" he said casually like letting a stranger he hardly know sleep on his bed was a normal thing he does, but the look on his friends faces says otherwise.
"You know we have have a spare bedroom at the end of the hall right?" Sarah asked with raised brows.
"Thanks I'll just use that" I said and scurried down the hall before any of those two could object again.
I walked through the hallway passing different doors I assumed were the others room until I came to the last door at the end of the hallway right next to Vincent's. Great.
I pushed open the door and stepped into the room, i awed at the queen sized bed and expensive furnitures that adorned the room, definitely gonna get a good nights rest.
Now just to get my bag back from Mason. Double great.
I turned around but froze when I noticed Vincent leaning on the doorframe with the bag Mason took in hand.
"Hey" I said but he remained silent. I fiddled with my thumbs as I looked around the room trying to busy myself from his heated gaze.
"Can you stop staring" I muttered grumpily. He hummed, pushed himself off the wall brushed passed me and dropped the bag on the bed plopped down beside it.
"Do you like it?" He asked softly. "Y-yeah it's nice" I stuttered still not used to this soft side of Vincent.
"Do I scare you?" He asked after a moment of silence. "I- uh uhh" I stuttered not knowing whether to answer the question honestly.
He pushed himself off the bed and with two long strides he was standing in front of me. I inhaled sharply when he brushed his fingertips on my cheek. "Feel free" he said and cupped my cheeks.
"Do I scare you?" he asked again grasping my chin so I was staring into his eyes. After a little hesitation I nodded in affirmation earning a sigh from him.
"I'll never hurt you" he said using his thumb to brush my chin. His eyes turn a shade darker as they flickered to my lips. My eyes widened an inch when he leans in. Push him, turn your face to the side, step back. All those commands echoed in my head but I couldn't move before I knew what I was doing I closed my eyes in anticipation of the kiss, but instead of a kiss on the lips, he placed a soft and feathery kiss on my forehead and it was gone.
I opened my eyes to find I was the only one in the room, like it was a figment of my imagination but the proof it happened was the tingling sensation on my forehead.
"Get your self together Racheal, you are not supposed to let him kiss you, snap out of it" I scolded myself as I stumbled over to my suitcases and began unpacking.
*
My stomach soon rumbled when I finished placing the last set of clothing into the wardrobe. I should probably go find something to eat I thought as I exited the walked-in closet and approached the door.
What if I run into Vincent!! I can't face him I thought as I screeched to a stop. he might be in his room or might not he home at all. Who knows?. I thought as I twisted and open the door. I stepped out of the room closing the door behind me and walked down the hallway.
I stepped into the living room to find Asher and Sarah asleep cuddled together on the couch I left them earlier. I made a beeline to the kitchen froze when I noticed Vincent standing by the stove with his back to me.
