Racheal's POV
The dress was a leather handless dress which stopped mid thigh. I slipped it on wore a brown fur coat on top and paired it with black leather ankle boots.
I fixed my curls in the mirror and applied lipgloss. Once I was satisfied with my looks I grabbed a handkerchief and a handbag kept my phone inside and left my room.I walked into the living room to find Cassie Sarah, Asher, Mason and Vincent all dressed in black waiting for me.
"You're looking beautiful babe" Vincent said covering the distance between us. "Thanks" I smiled, I looked down and noticed his hands were fisted tightly.
"Alright let's head out"Asher said and headed out of the house with the others following tow leaving me and Vincent alone. "Shall we" he said and stepped aside for me to go first.
"So who's riding with who?" Asher asked as we stepped out of the house. "I'll ride with Asher" I said and stepped toward the direction of his car. "No you're not" Vincent refuted grabbed my hand and pulled me towards his car.
"I'll ride with them" Cassie said and slipped into the backseat of Asher's car while Asher opened the passengers door for Sarah to step in.
"Shot gun" Mason screamed darting pass me and Vincent and flung himself into the passengers seat. "Get out" Vincent said calmly as he held the passengers door stopping him from closing it.
"No, I already said dibs" he pouted crossing his arms over his chest like a toddler throwing tantrums. "I don't fucking care, the seat belongs to her, I give you five seconds to get out of the car before I haul your ass out" Vincent replied but Mason just stuck his tongue out childishly.
I rolled my eyes at their bicker opened the backseat and slid in. "Let's go people we're gonna be late" I huffed as I checked the time on my phone.
"You are not seating in the backseat, your place is beside me" he huffed and turned his attention back to Mason. "Does it really matter?" I muttered "yes it fucking matters" Vincent replied with narrowed eyes.
"Can we just go or I'm gonna call a taxi instead" I said and I knew that ticked him off a lot. He slammed the passengers door loudly turned around, slipped into the drivers seat, started the engine and pulled out of the house.

We walked silently into the cemetery and stopped behind the little crowd who came to pay their respects to lizzie and her parents.A pastor stood at the forefront next to a six foot hole, but I wasn't paying any attention to him or any other person as my full focus zeroed on the closed white coffin laying in the hole which contained my best friend.
"This would be a good time to come out saying it's a joke and rub it in my face lizzie" I whispered very quietly but nothing happened. The pastor finished off his prayer did a cross sign and stepped back as Lizzie's mother and father stepped forward and placed their roses in the coffin. Lizzie's father threw the first sand on her coffin and Lizzie's five other brothers followed till the coffin was completely covered in sand.
The crowd soon began to disperse but I didn't move from my spot as I stood there staring at where she laid for what felt like forever before I finally willed myself to move.
I stopped directly in front off her grave as I stared at her tomb stone. "Goodbye dear friend. Till we meet again" I said quietly and laid the bouquet of flowers I bought on the way here on her grave.
"Racheal" I turned around to come face to chest with Douglas, Lizzie's oldest brother. "Hey"I said pulling up a sad smile "I see you got the memo as well" he said giving me a once over glance and I chuckled as a smile slipped into my face.
Lizzie was said people dressed too glum for funerals that she would love to set a fashion trend so people could dress flashy to funerals. Silly I know, that's why every last person who were personally close to lizzie all dressed like they were going to the Oscars.
"How you holding up?" He asked dragging me back from my thoughts. "I'm really trying to move forward and be happy, that's what lizzie would want" I said blinking back the tears. "Yeah, sounds like a lizzie thing"he said and I chuckled.
"Our doors will always be open to you lizzie, if you need anything, anything at all I'm just a call away" he said and I nodded.
"Take care Rach" he ruffled my hair. "Bye doggy" I said and he groaned at the nickname. "You messed with the hair so you deserve it" I said and he raised both hands above his head and grinned as he walked away.
I gave Lizzie's grave one final glance before I turned away and headed for the cemetery's exit.
I approached Vincent's car to find him leaning on it but no sign of Mason. "Where's Mason?" I asked coming to stand in front of him.
"Followed a chick home" he said and stood there for a long minute staring at me "you good?" He asked and I nodded. He nodded back pushed himself off the car making me take a step back.
He opened the passengers door helped me in closed the door and made his way around the car. He slipped into the drivers seat gave me a glance and leaned in.
I froze and my breath quickened. Is he going to kiss me?" I thought. Move away, avert your face my brain screamed to me but my body wasn't complying.
He stopped when his face was directly in front of me. He stared at my eyes before his gaze dropped to my lip he tilted his head a little to the side as one of his hands came to my side.
