Racheals POV
Once I folded the last clothes into my bag I zip up my suitcase, carry it and place it at the side of my door along with the small bag.I grab my tote bag off my bed unplug my laptop and place it in along with its charger, my phone charger and my little speaker.
"What are you doing?" A voice spoke from behind me making me jump. "Packing" I huffed without turning to answer him.
"I can see that" Vincent said with an edge in his voice. "Then why did you ask?" I said rolling my eyes as I zip my tote bag closed.
I turn around and gasp when I run directly into Vincent. "Why are you packing?" He asked using hand to smooth down my curls.
"Ever heard of personal space" I ask slapping his hands off my head and sidestepping him. I head over to the bathroom once more to make sure I'm not forgetting anything.
I turn around to head out but Vincent's stands towering over the door looking as imposing as ever. "Why are you packing Racheal?" He asks softly.
"I think it's time to head back home, I've stayed here long enough" I sighed taking a step forward but he doesn't move.
"You can't be serious, your friend and her boyfriend just got murdered and he's after you and you want to head back home" he says with concern itched on his face.
"So? I don't see how it's any of your business it has nothing to do with you. So let me deal with my problem would you?" I said about to sidestep him again, but he still doesn't move.
"It doesn't matter whether it has something to do with me or not? This is serious business Racheal you don't need to be alone right now" he said trying to grab my shoulder but I take a step back.
"I'm having one of my dance mates move in with me and I've talked to Lizzie's parents they'll be stopping by to clear out Lizzie's things" I said even though I haven't spoken to either of them yet but he doesn't have to know that.
"How are you sure the dance mate that's about to move in isn't the stalker huh?" He asked crossing his arms over his chest.
"And you aren't ?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest too.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked narrowing his eyes at me which I won't lie looked pretty scary.
"It means that maybe you might be the stalker" I say "come to think about it everything went to shit the day you walked into my life everything points to you" I say breathing heavily that's when I realize I have been yelling.
"Vincent" I hear from my bedroom making me strain over Vincent's shoulders to see Kelly standing in my room barefooted with only a towel around her.
"Is everything okay?"she asked looking at Vincent whose staring at me.
"Unfuckingbelieveable" I muttered under my breath as I run a hand through my hair.
"I get it, it's about her" he said with a frown.
"It's not about her it has nothing to do with her, it's my life I get to decide what I want to do with it and you don't get the right to fuck up my life while you have fun in your own little world" I yell at him.
"You think I'm the stalker" he asked with disbelieve written all over his face.
"I don't know what to think anymore okay? I just need to get the hell out of here" I say brushing past him and this time he lets me through. I grab my tote bag off the bed sling it on my shoulder, grab my luggage and the small bag at the side of the door push open the door and exit the room.
I walk into the living room to see Mason and the others are already there.
"Racheal are you sure it's safe to be on your own?" Cassie asks looking concerned.
"I'll be fine" I say giving all of them a small smile open the front door and hurry out with my luggage before anyone else can stop me.
The Uber driver stepped out of the car helped me put my luggage in the trunk while I get in the backseat. He goes around the car gets in and drives off.
We slow to a stop in front off my house where I pay and tip him generously for the service, once again he helps me get my bags out the trunk and place them on my porch enters his car and drives off.
I bring out the key from my trouser pockets insert it into the hole turn the key sideways and the door unlocks.
I place my things in the living room shut the door behind me and lock it with the key and bolts. One by one I carry my things and place them on the floor in front of my closet in my room.
I fish out my phone charger from my tote bag plug my phone to charge on my bedside table.
I throw my hair into a messy bun and slip out of my bedroom and into the kitchen. I open one of the drawers under the counter grabbed a book and pen out of it and closed it shut.
I open the back of the book and begin scribbling in groceries I'm gonna need before going around opening up cabinets and adding more things to the list.
I rip of my grocery list from the bag of my book and head back to my room. I unzip my tote bag remove my laptop and other contents and place them in the drawer by my bedside table.
I go over to the other side of my bed unplug my phone and go through for any unread messages.
I got only one from Lizzie's mom saying she and Douglas were coming by tomorrow to clear out Lizzie's room.
