𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐯:

Tasting every last drop of blood, it made me feel like I was high from just the flavour of it, as a line of blood leaked from the side of her neck I slowly cleaned the remaining mess up by gliding my tongue up the side of her neck.

Continuously draining the life out of the girl, I couldn't help but close my eyes in a pure bliss, never will I ever get over the pleasure of these moments.

Biting down softly into her soft skin, her head was tilted to the side, leaning back onto my chest, my face buried in her neck as I hugged her waist, supporting her and keeping her steady.

She whimpered but was stunned, not being able to move at all, her face was scrunched up in distress, gradually began to soften as all the life that was once in her had left as I realised her from my hold.

She dropped with a thud, my heart still remains empty as before, not feeling an ounce of remorse. I disappear from the scene, leaving the body in the darkness of the narrow street.

The taste of her blood still on my tongue, I have a thirst to have more. I know shouldn't, but yet, I can't help myself.

It's in my nature after all.

Swiftly stepping out and away from the alley, I heard a sound not that far away from where I was standing. Cautiously I crept quietly towards the noise only to find a little girl crying in the distance.

She was curled up into herself, she didn't look older than six and her face was covered up beneath her hands. She was sitting on the outside of a porch stairway. Shivering in the cold, she didn't have a coat on and was alone on the streets.

She's lucky that I found her first before anyone else has stumbled upon her, I always had a soft spot for kids and would never lay a finger on them, even though they still have hearts that are pulping blood into their systems, like every other human. I just don't think it's right to take children as a sort of prey. They haven't even lived yet.

Trying not to scare her I carefully make my way over to the girl, i think she heard me because she suddenly went quiet but was still breathing heavily.

My cold heart couldn't help but feel sore looking at the shivering girl in front of me.

I bent down to her level as she lifted her chin up slightly so her teary ocean eyes came into view, with endless streams of water flowing down her face.

"Are you ok?" I spoke softly, not trying to startle her, she didn't talk, so I continued on "Are you lost?" She was still shaking, her eyes held sorrow and hesitant. "Look, I'm not gonna hurt you, I just want to help you."

"M-my sister" her voice was mumbled due to her mouth being still hidden in her arms, she lifted her head up to look at me and her bottom lip quivered slightly. "I want my sister, but she-" she started to breathe heavily again, "she should be back by now, she said that she is just around the corner."

"What did she look like? How about you and I search for her." I suggested and her face lit up at that, "but first you got to describe to me what she looks like."

"w-well she is really tall like to about, your height maybe smaller, oh and she has black hair and big green eyes...." she paused shortly.

"Do you remember what she wore last time she saw you?"

"Oh yes! She was wearing a really pretty yellow dress and it was long and bright...." She kept on talking but her voice faded out as I came to a conclusion of her whereabouts.

She was the girl in the alley that I killed.

well shit.

"Do you have anyone else that's suppose to be looking after you?"

"n-no she hiccupped, she felt a little more at ease now and less tense, her heart beat had slowed back into its normal rhythm.

"Well- my other sister is still working- my older sister is suppose to be taking care of me, but she should be home by now."

"Where does she work?"

"Um I don't know the name but I can show you where."

She stood up from the pavement and held out her hand to me, I took it and she pulled me along.

We were walking the opposite way from where I came from, the alleyway, she led me down through the empty streets, still holding my hand while doing so.

We ended up in front of a small little coffee shop, the bell jingled as we entered through the doorway, in comparison to outside, the coffee place was full of life, the locals were seated around the long counter.

Behind the counter nobody seemed present, however with my excessively good hearing, I could hear a small voice humming or muttering something. Their voice was...captivating. It was smooth, angelic, it caught me off guard, I zoned out to my surroundings around me, not even remembering why I was here in the first place for a spilt second.

The godlike voice had slowly faded, blending in with the chatter of the room, yet I could still hear the echo of their gracious voice.

Looking back down at the little girl, she seems to overlook the crowd and her gaze was on behind the counter.

I watched her face light up happily as she let go of my hand and ran towards the counter. I was about to say something but she seemed to recognise something....or someone. I looked up at who she could of been running to until I spotted a young woman who looked about sixteen years of age.

"Y/n! Y/n!" I heard younger girl shout as she reached the mysterious woman, she wrapped her arms around her sisters legs since she was too small to reach her arms.

The older woman seemed stunned but crouched to her height and pulled her into a proper hug, quickly pulling away to check on her.

"What are you doing here? Where's Amy? Did you come here alone? Why aren't you at-"

"I did" I stepped forward as she turned her head to look at me, god she is beautiful, she shifted her gaze to me, I smiled politely at her. She picked up her little sister in her arms and brought her up so she was resting on her hips, holding her tightly in her grip as she eyed me nervously. The little girl who I now know her name as 'Amy' laid her head down on her older sister's shoulder.

"Don't worry, I couldn't get inside our house so this nice man helped me find you, since we couldn't find Maya," I heard Amy whisper into her ear, her heart which was pounding seemed to go back to its normal pace.

She was less tense now, taking me by complete surprise she smiled at me. She took a deep breath before speaking "I want to thank you so much for taking care of my sister, I really owe you-"

"Don't worry about," I cut her off before she could apologise, "I'm just glad that I could be of your service milady."

She grinned a little and her face was going slightly red, "You're quite the charmer um...."

"Anakin Skywalker."

"Anakin...well thank you again, well I best go bring Amy home, since it's getting late and I just finished my shift."

"I could walk you back you know, if its not much of a bother to you," I offered.

The corner of her mouth lifted slightly, she checked to see Amy if she was ok with it but it seems she had already drifted off on her sisters shoulder.

"I suppose so Anakin."
