Clingy (Part 1)

I was ready to go to Julia's house to hangout with her since it's been a while since we had girls time. On the other side, Niall decided to call the lads to come over to catch up with them as well.

I got done getting ready and I'm just wearing some pair of black skinny jeans, white shirt and a pair of vans. I went downstairs to find Niall and the lads but they're nowhere to see. I went to look at the living the room but they are not there.

So I decided to check them upstairs and look at the studio room thinking that maybe they are jamming there. I went upstairs to look for them without disturbing or making any noise.

The door was a bit opened so I could hear them at the hallway. Suddenly I heard Zayn speaking asking Niall.  "So how are you and Y/N?"

"We're actually good. Happy finally we had time for each other you know." I heard Niall said. "You seem like you're not okay?" Harry spoke. I decided to stay at the hallway and continue to listen quietly.

I heard a sighed. Probably that's from Niall. "Why mate? Did she do something wrong?" Harry asked again. "No. She didn't do anything wrong actually. I just don't like how she was very clingy lately. Like I get it that we missed each other and we just catch up and stuff. Whenever I tried to went out to catch up with friends she always ask if she could come. I mean I want her to come but sometimes I also need alone time with friends only."

I stepped back a bit surprised with what I heard. I'm upset but I suddenly realized how much clingy I was to him lately. I mean now I understand why. He has a point though.

I started to walk away quietly so that they won't notice I was there. I went downstairs and grabbed my stuff and left our house. I called Julia and said I'm on my way.

After an hour, I finally arrived at Julia's house. She greeted me with a tight hug. "(Y/N)!! It's been a while. I've missed ya." She frowned. When she let go of our hug her brows furrowed.

"Are you okay (Y/N)? You look like you just saw a ghost." She said. I sighed. "I don't know." I honestly said. "You wanna talk about it? Come let's go at the living room." She said and gently dragged me at the living room.

"I'll just get some snacks and drinks. Make yourself at home." She gave me a small smile. I nodded at her. I don't know what to think at the moment. My head is so blankly and I'm so lost.

Once Julia cam back with the snacks and drinks. She sat beside me. "So tell me what's wrong?" "Uhhh" I scratched the back of my head not knowing how to tell her what's really wrong.

"Is it about Niall?" She asked. I nodded my head and quickly looked down avoiding her gaze. "What happened?" She scooted closer to me to squeeze me assuring me that it's fine to tell her.

"The lads are there hanging out with him. When I was about to leave the house and plans to say goodbye to them I overheard them talking about us. Harry asked how we were and he said we're good and stuff. But."

"But?" She said waiting for my response. "He told them that I was a bit clingy these past few weeks. I wasn't mad at him but I don't know why I'm suddenly upset. I do understand that I was like that but I'm just trying my best to have bonding with him while we are still both free you know?." I sighed.

"I mean he's about to leave again to start touring which means it will lessen the time we can hangout together. I just don't want to waste our free time but I get it I'm getting too much and very needy lately." I frowned.

"Aww (Y/N)." Julia pulled me in for a tight hug. "It's okay babe. I totally understand you. I'm also like that to JP sometimes. JP also gets annoyed and stuff but he always choose to tell me but since you and Niall are still new and your relationship is still fresh. It is pretty normal that he's not opening up to you about that yet." She explained.

"I'm sorry. I think I'm overreacting about this." I frowned at her. Julia chuckled and said "Oh shut up! Of course you're not. I told you, you can tell me anything right? I'm open and I won't judge you."

She gave me a smile. "Thank you Hules. I'm so glad I'm close with you. At least there's someone I could tell about what I feel when it comes to this." I hugged her.

"What movie should we watch?" She asked. "You wanna cry or laugh? You picked" She cheered. "What about let's rewatch The Notebook?" I asked. "Omg! Yes!" She then put it on Netflix and searched for The Notebook.

"Why are we talking about me and (Y/N)? How about you and Kendall?" I asked changing the topic. I don't want (Y/N) to overhear us and mistakenly think I hate her or hate being with her.

Our relationship is still new. Dating for like 8 months and we're still trying to getting to know each other. I know 8 months is new and living together isn't the best option but who cares. It's our choice though.

"We're good. We went on a vacation last week and it was fun." Harry said interrupting my thoughts. And then the rest of the lads are talking as well. Telling how were there break was.

I got confused when I realized (Y/N) never came by at the room to say goodbye atleast. But I shrugged it off maybe she's running late. Typically (Y/N). Always comes late.

Anyway, we spent the afternoon just talking about our lives and what will be our plans for the comeback of the band and stuff.

I really do missed hanging out with them. I was so happy when I heard the news that they're are planning about our comeback. It's our finally time to go back from where we came from. We got the break we deserved and we think we're ready.

Around 12 in the midnight when the lads decided it's time for us to rest and can catch up again the next day. (Y/N) isn't home which is fine by me.

"Thanks for today lads! I'll see ya tomorrow yeah?" I said. They nodded and they all gave me a hug. Once they were gone I plopped myself at the couch and decided to wait for (Y/N).

I closed my eyes for a while and after few minutes I guess I heard the front door closed. That's probably (Y/N). I quickly stood up and went to her to give her a tight hug. "Hi Petal! You're back. How's your date with Hules?" I asked.

She hugged me back but it wasn't the usual hug she always gives me. "It's fun. We watched some movies and had a girls talk." Then she gave me a small smile.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Are ya alright petal?" I asked. She gave me a quick nodded avoiding my gaze at her. Somethings off of her. I wonder what happened with their hangout earlier.

"I'll go take a shower." She said. "Alright I'll wai-" I didn't able to finish what I'm saying because she already disappeared from my sight. I sighed.

Did I do something wrong? I tried recalling the last time we talked that I made her upset or mad but I can't remember anything. That's impossible. We were good earlier in the morning but then it changed.
