Welcome to the archive: More RWBY & Bloodborne related shenanigans. This has been written for a while but I just forgot it existed so my bad.

Qrow sat on the steps leading to the Workshop, staring out into the void surrounding the Hunter's Workshop. He wasn't sure what to do and Ozpin had given him some time off after his last mission which had ended on a sour note.
Qrow reached for his flask and went to take a sip of the contents, "Hello, Good Hunter," a voice laced with love and affection spoke from Qrow's right, "It is nice to see you again."
Qrow turned to the voice and smiled. The Doll was the attendant for the workshop, she cleaned the place, watched over the graves of the Hunters that had passed on from the dream, and gave the Hunters that came here a comfort not many had.
Qrow wasn't exactly sure what made him so fond of the Doll. It may have been some of the things that reminded him of Summer or it was just the fact the Doll cared about him despite his many flaws. He didn't care though as the Doll had done far more than a lot of people could do for Qrow.
"Hey, Crystal," Qrow wasn't exactly a fan of calling the Doll, well, the Doll, just felt too demeaning for someone like her. So he gave her a nickname and it stuck, "It's good to see you too."
"You seemed to let your facial hair grow out," she noted, as she stood next to him.
Qrow chuckled while running a hand through the beard he'd let grow over the months, "Yeah, didn't really have a lot of time to shave in Vacuo so I just let it be, maybe when I visit my nieces I'll get their opinion of it and see if it should stick."
Crystal hummed, "I think it looks rather rugged."
Qrow smirked, "In a good way right?"
"If a good way is bad, then yes, Good Hunter."
Qrow barked a laugh, putting the now-forgotten flask back on his belt. Crystal was a gentle and caring individual, but she tended to have a little snark to her as well. Qrow wasn't sure if that was intentional on Gehrman's part or not but he enjoyed it nonetheless.
Qrow's chipper mood somewhat dimmed at the thought of the First Hunter. Gehrman was a lot like Ozpin in a sense, an old man trying to fight back against an ancient evil. Of course, there were differences.
Gehrman was shackled to the Workshop by the Moon Presence and forced against his will. Qrow wasn't precisely sure about Ozpin but Qrow believed he chose to stop Salem of his own will.
Plus Gehrman was gone, and Ozpin was not.
Qrow respected Gehrman for the relatively short time he knew him. It made it all the sadder when he was forced to put the old hunter down to save him from this nightmare. Qrow didn't forget about him however and decided to honor the hunter by adding a scythe form to Harbinger.
He also had the Burial Blade at the ready if he ever needed a weapon because he lost Harbinger in the unlikely event that happened.
Crystal smiled as she asked, "Would you mind coming in for some cocoa?"
Qrow took a glance at his flask and then back to Crystal, "Not at all, Crystal."
Crystal nodded and turned to walk up the steps. Qrow stood up, grabbed Harbinger from the step it was leaning against, put it on his lower back, and followed Crystal up the steps.
