"Look what came in the mail," I say, holding the letter so tightly I would be surprised if I hadn't gotten a paper cut.
"Your Hogwarts acceptance letter," Regulus says, smiling brightly.
"Yes, I am so excited. Can we go to Diagon Alley now?" I ask, looking up at my parents while making my eyes large and innocent. A technique that I learned a long time ago and one that is nearly flawless.
"Of course sweetheart," mother says. I knew it would work, it always does well most of the time anyway. The first thing I wanted to get was my wand so we headed over to Ollivander.
"Back for the last time," Ollivander says.
"Yes, well until they have children," father says.
"It's finally your turn now is it Miss Black," Ollivander says.
"Yes, finally what wand are you thinking will choose me Mr Ollivander?" I ask politely after all he is a Pureblood and from a family that is on the list of the sacred 28.
"How about this one 12½ inches, hazel, reasonable supply in flexibility, core unicorn hair," Ollivander says.
"It's beautiful," I say, feeling an instant draw to the wand. I reach out to take it but before my fingers touch the wand a very strong wind flies through the shop, lights in and around Olivanders flicker on and off for a few seconds before settling down.
"This wand without a doubt has chosen you and will always be yours," Ollivander says. He put the wand pack in its casing while mother pays for it. As we were on our way out of the shop Ollivander stops us.
"You have a lot of power, Miss Black use it wisely." I nod even though I don't fully understand what he means. A lot of power? How would he know that from what wand chose me? I quickly forget about his warning and focus on getting my other school supplies. After getting all of my school supplies we head back home.

This time at Kings Cross Station we all have our own carts. We walk through the wall (whose charm I'm no longer scared of suddenly breaking by the way), board the train and were off to Hogwarts just minutes after we had arrived at the platform. We all sit in the same train compartment except for Sirius.
"Estrella I am going to go to my friends now. I am not very wanted here. Just so you know it doesn't matter what house you get in," Sirius says.
"What are you talking about, of course it matters," Regulus says. That didn't ease my worry at all. I was first hand witness to my parents reaction to finding out Sirius being sorted into Gryffindor. I'm not sure if I could handle their rage as well as Sirius does.
"Go leave, you are being a bad influence as always," Bellatrix says, pointing her wand at Sirius.
"See you at Hogwarts," Sirius says and leaves.
"What if he gets disowned," I say.
"No he won't," Andromeda reassures.
"Don't worry he will always come home with us, remember his promise," Regulus says, to which I nod. Regulus is right Sirius will always come home; he is just going through a rebellious phase. It takes hours until we finally arrive, and to be completely honest the ride was very boring, we could have just apparated.
"We are here, see you at the sorting ceremony," Andromeda says.
"See you, what do you mean with see you?" I ask.
